🌍 World Autism Awareness Day – Embracing Every Child’s Light 💙
Today, on World Autism Awareness Day, we pause as a school community to celebrate the beautiful diversity that exists within our children. Every child is uniquely created, wonderfully gifted, and deserving of understanding, patience, and love.
Autism is not something to be “fixed” — it is a different way of experiencing the world. Some children may communicate differently, learn differently, or respond to their environment in ways we may not always understand. But within each child lies incredible potential, brilliance, and a light that deserves to shine.
At Curepe Presbyterian Primary School PTA, we stand firmly in support of inclusion, empathy, and acceptance. We encourage our parents, teachers, and students to:
💙 Be kind
💙 Be patient
💙 Be understanding
💙 Celebrate differences
Let us continue to build a school culture where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to be their best self.
As a community, when we choose compassion over judgement and understanding over assumption, we create a space where all children can thrive.
✨ “Every child has the propensity to learn and be their best if they feel respected, secure, genuinely cared for, and intrinsically valued.”
Today, we wear blue not just in awareness—but in solidarity, love, and unwavering support.
Together, we see the ability, not the disability💙
