NAME OF PROGRAMME: Electrical Installation Training Programme

CERTIFICATION
On successful completion of this programme, students will receive certification from the City & Guilds of London Institute and Automation Technology College and be eligible to apply for the Wireman’s Licence at the Electrical Inspectorate which certifies electricians in Trinidad and Tobago.
Certification comprises:
1) City & Guilds of London Certification: Level 2 Diploma in Engineering IVQ – Electrical and Electronics Technology (2850-54)
2) ATC Certification: Wireman/Electrician Supplementary Training
TARGET AUDIENCE

NAME OF COURSE: Preparation for Wireman’s Licence Exam
MODE: Online
PRE-REQUISITE: Diploma in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
OBJECTIVES:
1) Gain the knowledge and skill required to install, maintain and repair residential and commercial electrical systems.
2) Understand wiring diagrams for proper planning and layout of electrical wiring, fixtures, panels and raceways.
3) Be able to recognize and put into practice the various statutory requirements as outlined in the T&T Electrical Wiring Code Part 1 and other regulations.
