A Sweet Learning Experience Today! 🍯

Yesterday we had a special visit from a beekeeper! The children learned about bees, how they make honey, and the many benefits of honey.

They were excited to see a real beekeeper’s suit up close and even had the opportunity to taste some delicious honey. 🍯

A wonderful hands-on experience that helped the children learn more about one of Allah’s amazing creations. Alhamdulillah!

Exploring Allah’s Creation 🌿

This week, our students are learning about the animals Allah has created.

Allah says in the Qur’an:

“And Allah has created every [living] creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.” (Surah An-Nur 24:45)

Today the children explored different animals and sorted them into the groups mentioned in the ayah. They are also learning the Arabic names of animals as part of their studies.

Through these hands-on activities, children are learning about the diversity of Allah’s creation and His perfect power to create whatever He wills. 🌿✨

🧁 Today’s Cupcake Decorating Session Was a Success, Alhamdulillah! 🧁

Our special community helper—a baker—visited today and gave the children a hands-on cupcake decorating experience. The children learned how to ice their cupcakes and add sprinkles to make their creations extra special.

They also enjoyed learning about some of the ingredients used in baking and how they come together to create a delicious cake.

A fun, educational, and tasty experience for everyone!

Today at The Doors of Knowledge Academy, parents met with our Principal and teachers for meaningful discussions about their child’s learning, development, achievements, and progress بفضل الله.

Our preschoolers began learning about Hajj as a journey today. They explored the first step of Hajj — entering into Ihram.

Teaching children Islam through play, creativity, and meaningful experiences helps bring these beautiful acts of worship to life in a way they can understand and love from an early age بإذن الله 🌙

Today our little learners had a special visit from a community helper — a firefighter! 🚒

We explored the protective gear firefighters wear and spoke about the many ways they help our communities. The children learned that firefighters don’t only put out fires — they also rescue people, save animals, help during emergencies, and work hard to keep everyone safe. 🧯❤️

It was such an exciting hands-on experience that helped build appreciation for the brave helpers in our communities. May Allah aid them. Aameen
