In observation of International Women's Day 2026, today, through a beautiful flowering plant, we shared a token of appreciation for the incredible women who help make Oak Prep such a caring and vibrant community. 💐 🌷
For us, International Women’s Day is more than a celebration—it is a reminder to continue building a world where women and girls are supported, respected and empowered to dream and thrive.
Here are a few meaningful ways we can all support this important day:
✨ Encourage our girls to dream boldly – Remind them that their voices, ideas and leadership matter.
✨ Model respect and equality for our children – When children see fairness and appreciation in action, they carry those values forward.
✨ Support women in our community – Whether through mentorship, encouragement or simple acts of kindness, small gestures create powerful impact.

Oak Preparatory Private School proudly celebrated the vibrant culture of the Caribbean with a lively “Caribbean Callaloo” Jump Up! 🎉🌴
Over 100 students participated, dressed in dazzling colours and creative costumes that beautifully represented the diversity and spirit of the islands. Each class was assigned a different country, allowing students to learn about and showcase unique traditions and heritage:
- Preschool: Grenada
- First Year: Antigua and Barbuda
- Second Year: Barbados
- Std 1: Jamaica
- Std 2: Saint Lucia
- Std 3: Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
- Std 4: Guyana
The event was graciously supported by the school’s Director, Mrs. Sagar, along with the dedicated Class Teachers who ensured the day was filled with energy, learning, and Caribbean pride. 💃🏽🎶
It was truly a colourful celebration of unity, culture, and joyful expression!

Today, we celebrate more than flowers and sweet treats — we celebrate love in action.
As parents, educators, and caregivers, may we continue spreading love through our words, being love through our example, and living in love through our daily choices.
When we choose to act, live and be love, we create safe spaces where our little ones can grow with confidence, security, and joy.
May our homes and classrooms reflect warmth, respect, and unity. For when children are nurtured in love, they flourish — academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The vibes were high and our team showed true courage as our boys and girls confidently took to the field to represent our school with pride. 🏃🏽♂️🏃🏽♀️💪🏽
Every athlete is a winner, not just for competing but for demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, following instructions and completing each race with determination and focus. 🏅👏🏽 They gave their very best and that alone makes us incredibly proud. 🌟
