Join us for a comprehensive two-hour session on the management of osteoarthritis (OA) in companion animals—one of the most common chronic conditions affecting dogs and cats.

Osteoarthritis impacts not only the welfare and quality of life of affected animals but also presents significant emotional and financial challenges for caregivers. This engaging two-part presentation will explore a multimodal approach to OA management, combining the latest evidence in pain control with practical rehabilitation and lifestyle strategies.

Participants will gain valuable insights into the causes and diagnosis of OA, pain recognition and assessment, current pharmacological treatment options, and the role of joint-support therapies and nutraceuticals. The session will also examine rehabilitation techniques, nutrition, therapeutic exercise, hydrotherapy, photobiomodulation, shockwave therapy, environmental modifications, and other non-pharmacological interventions that can improve comfort, mobility, and quality of life.
