Field Trip!!

Outings are adventures for children.

Adventures is something children look forward to. Why? You may as.

Its because whether it's the supermarket, the zoo, a walk in the park, a drive to the ice cream store or a drive home from school.

Kids get so excited to explore new places. It helps with regulating emotions, communicating with others, critical thinking and so much more.

As little as it is. Give your kid/s the opportunity to progress with a relaxed mind.

What a Wonderful Experience!!!!!!!

The staffs, parents and students took a tour through the Caroni Swamp Bird Sanctuary. Such an amazing view. It was spectacular as we got the opportunity to see the Scarlet Ibis in their habitat.

The boat ride was so calm and very informative as the tour guide enlightened us on a brief history about the Swamp, the Mangroves and the Animals.

Field trips are helpful because children are given the opportunity to learn by seeing, hearing and touching.

Do you know that "COOKERY ISNT JUST MESSY"!

In our little ones mind. They see it as having fun while learning.

Cookery helps:

*To build communication
Your childs social skills with their peers / adults will grow. As your child is learning to share and take turns with others.

*Your child with numeracy
He or she would be able to identify numbers by counting the items and also using a measuring cup to measure the items.

*With word recognition
Your child would be able to remember the name of the food items and kitchen utensils used. Which is helpful for the formation of sentences and reading.

Did you know that Letter Recognition is important?

Here's why:

1. Builds Vocabulary
Once your child/children are able to identify the letters of the alphabet it helps them to form new words.

2. Prepares for Reading:
By recognizing the letters, your child would be able to sound out words and even read fluently.

3. Boosts Confidence:
Children that are able to recognize the letters are confident in spelling their names. This gives them a sense of identity.
