Book grant payments started on Wednesday 2 September. Sharing the Ministry of Education's release so it reaches more parents.
Verification checks are finished and the programme has moved to paying out. The Ministry thanks applicants "as the remaining payments are processed", so payments are still going out.
If you are approved, an email tells you so.
If you gave bank details, more correspondence follows once the money is deposited. The Ministry says it is working with the banks on timing.
If you are paid by cheque, a SECOND email tells you where and when to collect. Wait for that email before you travel.
CHEQUE COLLECTION
Education District Offices, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring ID: National ID, Driver's Permit or Passport.
Port of Spain: Jerningham Ave
North Eastern: Savi St, Sangre Grande
South Eastern: 87 High St, Rio Claro
St. George East: 2A Eastern Main Rd, Tunapuna
St. Patrick and Victoria: 16 to 22 Sutton St, San Fernando
Caroni: Balisier St, Couva
Tobago: Dutch Fort Plaza
On your own application, the Ministry asks applicants to monitor their status at bookgrant.moe.gov.tt. For anything further the release gives 622-2181 ext. 1425 or 1433 and [email protected]
