We are proud to introduce the CEO of the GPA Academy, teaching Steelpan Beginners, the proficient, Ms Shania James 🥇🎼
Shania James is a professional steelpanist, musician, experienced music teacher & an upcoming steelpan tuner. Born and grown into deep musical family roots. From age 12 she was enrolled in the birdsong Academy, for almost a decade she shaped her life around music and the steelpan.
In 2019 she went on to complete a Bachelor's of Fine and Performing Arts Degree, specialised in music on the steelpan. With her career path clear on the horizon, in 2021, Global Pans and Accessories LTD was born, a holistic shop geared towards the manufacturing of the steelpan and a wide range of it's accessories.
Shortly after the GPA Academy was created to ensure she took, not only her knowledge, but also that of other talented, certified colleagues & use this to further the knowledge of the upcoming generations of musicians no matter their chosen instrument.
