Misconceptions about technology can prevent us from seeing the real solutions. What does science say?
🎯 There’s a common misconception that screen time causes learning difficulties like dyslexia. However, dyslexia is a neurological condition, and there is no direct link between screen exposure and its development.
⚠️ Overexposure to screens may have negative effects on children’s overall development, which is why limiting screen time, especially for children under the age of 3, is recommended.
âś… On the other hand, controlled and educational use of technology can significantly support children with dyslexia and learning difficulties. For example, studies on tablet-assisted learning methods have shown a 22% to 58% improvement in the number of words read per minute by individuals with dyslexia.*
🔑 The key is balance and purpose. Parents and educators play an essential role in ensuring technology is used as an educational tool and that screen time remains age-appropriate.

Dyslexia is a neurological difference that affects an individual’s ability to read, write, and process language. However, it has absolutely no connection to intelligence.
People with dyslexia are often highly creative, excellent problem-solvers, and capable of seeing the world from unique perspectives. Famous individuals like Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, and Agatha Christie are perfect examples of this.
Remember, dyslexia is not a limitation—it’s simply a different way of learning. With the right support and tools, every child can reach their full potential!

Dyslexia is not a limitation but a unique way of learning and thinking. Affecting around 15-20% of individuals, it’s a reminder that diversity in how we process information is more common than we realize!
