For over 25 years, Robert Johnson has been a defining force in Frankfurt’s electronic music scene, earning a cult status as one of Europe’s most esteemed clubs, labels, and collectives. Renowned for its intimate yet captivating atmosphere, this iconic venue hosts some of the most prominent DJs in the electronic music world every year. Since 2009, its record label, Live at Robert Johnson, has been pushing the boundaries of music.

The legendary creator of the Playhouse, Ongaku, and Klang Elektronik labels—and the mastermind behind Robert Johnson—Ata is set to deliver an exclusive performance in Istanbul.

This special event will also feature a lineup of talented local DJs and producers who have garnered attention across Europe and beyond:

Barış K, whose productions have made waves in both Turkey and the global scene.

Karaahmetov, a standout name in Turkey and Europe’s music circles.

Flü is known as a DJ who navigates freely between rhythms and genres, successfully establishing a strong connection with his audience. As the resident DJ of Gizli Bahçe, one of Istanbul’s notable underground clubs, he stands out with his musical diversity and energetic performances.

Active since 2016, Flü has reached a wide audience by performing at prestigious festivals such as Cappadox, Soundgarden, and Peninsulas. In his performances, he blends different rhythms and genres without adhering to any specific style, offering innovative experiences to his listeners.

With his deep passion for music and innovative approach, Flü takes his audience on a unique journey with each performance. This dedication and creativity have earned him a distinctive place in the music world, making Flü an essential figure in Istanbul’s dynamic music scene.

Baban is a DJ/Producer from Istanbul, Turkey. Since his childhood Baban’s interest to
music has been intensely grow beyond interest to passion. He attended many festivals all
around the world and this give him the opportunity to observe and listen one of his
favourite DJs and producers on the scene. Within years, Baban’s passion to music grew
and that lead him to start producing and DJing. His musical journey started as a club
deejay in 2019 in his own city Istanbul where he also decided to produce electronic
music. In 2023, Baban launched his own label ‘’Lowkey Recordings’’ with Jalo, Jemmi
and Merem based in Budapest.
Baban, likes to synthesize minimal sounds with jazzy, breaky flavors along with old-
school hip-hop sounds. No matter the time of the day, his hypnotic and groovy sounds keeps
people dancing on the floor. Baban delivers an unpredictable and harmonious journey and
always comes up with futuristic sounds.
In 2020, Baban’s first EP release came out on music label Podvodo Records based in
Slovenia. Then he had several EP releases from very well know labels such as Podvodo
Records (SVN) ,Welter Records (RO), Seism Productions (RO), The Lab (RO), Urban Midi
Records (RO), Zebra Records (RO), Not Allowed (Serbia), Habits Records (UK),Odd
Pleasures (USA), Tzinah Records (RO), Carpathian Sounds (RO), Rominimal Collective (RO)
, Fafo Records (AUS), Kiku Music (UK) All Blak Records (CAN) , Inwave Records (ITA) and

With Baban’s leadership he will take you to a journey to unseen destinations of your mind
and will tell you a story through the rhythms that that he curates with his productions
and sets.

Karaahmetov first took part in the dance floor for a long time before starting to DJ
professionally in 2012. This time spent as an active follower on the club scene determined
the line he wanted to showcase as a music producer. Karaahmetov defines the style he
started to create in this period as ‘storytelling’
It is a timeless, special and
always-to-be-remembered story that intertwines the audience’s reaction and rhythm with
the pieces he chose from various genres throughout his performance.
Karaahmetov DJed in all the major venues of Istanbul nightlife with his sets
consisting of music genres that focused on house and techno, and shifted to minimal
techno after the pandemic. Taking part in the MM Brothers group, which he founded with
his other music producer friends at Mini Music Hall, and being one of the resident DJs of
this iconic club for many years, was the point that accelerated his career.

Karaahmetov performed not only in Turkey, but also in world-famous clubs and
festivals such as Garbicz, Kauz Zurich, Bar3000, Zukunft, and was a guest on various
popular radio channels. Karaahmetov, who appears in various areas of nightlife with the
style he has developed over time, continues to produce his own productions and improve
his musical technique with various collaborations.

His favorite performances in the nightlife scene, where he enjoys taking part as both
a producer and an insatiable consumer, are his one-man sets that last at least half a day,
where the first pale blue light of the day dawns, where the party truly begins, where he
plays in long after hours and always forgets to record. Only those who were there
remember.

Cervus (Göktuğ Çitçi) was born in Istanbul in 1979. Initially interested in trip-hop, ambient, industrial, leftfield, and drum & bass, he began his career in 1997 at 104.3 Radio Cool, one of Istanbul’s leading dance music radio stations, where he developed his DJ skills.

In late 2000, he signed with the Netherlands-based Sadie Records and released his first vinyl under the alias Subsky. His track Four Days was featured on Politics of Dancing, the first compilation album by Paul Van Dyk.

In 2003, he actively participated in the founding of Dinamo 103.8 alongside Ali Şahinbaş (Fuchs) and Mete Tavukçuoğlu (Agentorange), organizing and performing at numerous events. The following year, he co-founded the record label Red Flag Collective with Yunus Güvenen, Muzo Berberoğlu, and Barış Türker. Over its four-year operation, the label released and distributed six records worldwide.

Cervus has performed at some of Istanbul’s most iconic clubs, including Godet, Crystal, Switch, 7th House, and MiniMüzikhol, gaining recognition for his DJing skills.

Under the Subsky alias, he has released over 80 vinyl and digital tracks/remixes on labels such as Plastic City, Urban Torque, Spring Tube, Night Drive Music, Forensic, Deep Records, Looq Records, Prog City Deep Trax, and Dutchie Music. He has also produced remixes for renowned Turkish artists, including Candan Erçetin, Sezen Aksu, Teoman, Mor ve Ötesi, Athena, Monality, and Büyük Ev Ablukada.

Barış K has been a significant figure in Istanbul’s nightlife since the late 1990s. His passion for music was shaped at an early age by his father, who had a vast record collection, and his older brother, who listened to a variety of genres.

He began DJing at rock bars and later played at Gizli Bahçe. In the 2000s, he co-hosted the radio show Satürn with the late DJ İsmet on Açık Radyo, worked at Kod Müzik, and became a resident DJ at the Red Room of the legendary Istanbul club (((godet))).

In 2007, he gained international recognition with his Eurasia Mixes, which focused on Turkey’s hidden psychedelic funk, disco, and folk music. His contributions to the Istanbul 70 compilation propelled him onto the global dance music scene. In 2013, he founded the acid-folk band İnsanlar and released the track Kime Ne.

Blending house, techno, and disco edits, Barış K is one of the founders of Mini Müzikhol and continues to perform at Gizli Bahçe. In 2022, he released his first electronic solo EP on the record label of Frankfurt’s legendary club Robert Johnson.

Mano Le Tough is an Irish DJ, producer, and label founder known for his melodic, deep, folkal house music and a storied history of acclaimed releases and collaborations / remixes for the likes of DJ Koze / Pampa Records, Circo Loco, Róisín Murphy, Fabric plus via his own imprint Maeve. As a DJ, his sound blends emotional depth with rhythmic intricacy, making him a favorite in clubs (Berghain, Circoloco, Fabric, Robert Johnson) and festivals worldwide (Sonar, Dekmantel, Pitch, Coachella).

His new label Passion Beat is a new platform for expression and collaboration. Big trip
believing. An underlying rhythm that spells out love. Love for the music, the togetherness,
for the journey we call life. It started out as a street corner conversation between two
friends one summer in Berlin, became a global party series and now later, resurrected and
reconstituted, a label.
