Calendario de TANGO

Hoy despedimos al gran maestro del bandoneón Gustavo Battistessa, nacido el 15.06.1971 en Buenos Aires.
Con más de 35 años dedicados al arte, su camino —formado por Domingo Mattio y Jorge Rutman— lo llevó a integrar orquestas como Moreno, Avellaneda y Juan D’Arienzo, y a giras por Brasil, Perú, Italia, Senegal, Japón, China, Estados Unidos y muchos otros países.

Compartió escenario con grandes figuras como Atilio Stampone, Luis Borda y Amelita Baltar, y participó en la película Tango de Carlos Saura.
Desde 2007 formaba parte de Oktotango en Estambul, y en los últimos años actuaba con La Fortuna, dejando una profunda huella en la comunidad del tango en Turquía.

Su música y su espíritu seguirán vivos en cada nota.

Today we say goodbye to Gustavo Battistessa, the great Argentine bandoneon master born on June 15, 1971.
With over 35 years of artistic dedication, his journey —which began under Domingo Mattio and Jorge Rutman— brought him to renowned orchestras such as Moreno, Avellaneda and Juan D’Arienzo, and to stages across Brazil, Peru, Italy, Senegal, Japan, China, the United States and more.

He performed with legendary artists including Atilio Stampone, Luis Borda and Amelita Baltar, and appeared in Carlos Saura’s film Tango.
Since 2007, he has been part of Oktotango in Istanbul, and in recent years performed with La Fortuna, enriching the tango community in Turkey.

His music, his elegance and his spirit will remain alive in all of us.
