Microtonal Guitar Institute

The deadline for applications for the 10th International Microtonal Guitar Competition, organized by the ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory and the Microtonal Guitar Institute with support from the ITU Development Foundation, is May 27, 2026.

The event, organized by ITU faculty member Prof. Dr. Tolgahan Çoğulu since 2016 and marking the world's first microtonal guitar competition, has given awards for 33 compositions and 38 arrangements. The competition is held in two categories: compositions and arrangements including the microtonal guitar.
