Department of Visual Communication Design aims to train individuals who are able to work as expert visual communication designers in the fields of Internet, TV and other media. In this popular programme, the students will have the opportunity to produce works in creative areas such as photography, video, interactive media design, animation, to design indoor/outdoor events.

Our students' projects for the "Fashion as Message" Workshop led by Gülşah Kara (circular design practitioner) on this week's VCD210 Design Theories Course! For the project, the students were expected to design a poster that visualizes a fashion idea including garnment, accessory, runway image, wearable object or a fictional fashion concept in the scope of 2050 context.

Project outputs from the VCD431 Branding Design course conducted by Instructor Sabri Akın ✨
Throughout the course, students worked in groups on identity design projects for cultural institutions based on given briefs. Moving through research, brand strategy, visual strategy, and design development, they designed comprehensive identity systems and tested them across multiple applications.
The course followed an intensive, critique-driven structure, encouraging students to think strategically, design systematically, and articulate their ideas with clarity.
