y-run business was founded in 2006 when Ayse retired from teaching and the venture was joined and supported by her daughter, Burcu, who was also a teacher but who has now since retired herself from teaching to pursue her love as a talented artist and it is Burcu who became the face of ‘Soap Lady’, appearing within the company motif on all our soap products. With outlets in Fethiye and Oludeniz in western Turkey, the business has grown through ‘word of mouth’ into an established and recognised company selling more than 40,000 soaps every season to visitors from across Europe, North America, Russia, the Far East and Africa. Soap Lady specialises in Turkish handmade natural soap that not only preserves and nourishes the skin, but which also treats a wide variety of skin problems. Our customers’ glowing reviews are testimony to the wonderful results achieved over the years.
