CTIS Senior Projects Demo Day & Poster Presentations:

On Wednesday, April 29th and Thursday, April 30th, between 09:30 - 17:30, the Department of Information Systems and Technologies (CTIS) will organize its annual Senior Projects Demo Day and Poster Presentations for 2026. The event will be held at CTIS Department, East Campus, C-Building. Everyone is invited to this event.

Bu yıl Bahar Koşusu’nda kendim için değil, hayalleri olan ama desteğe ihtiyaç duyan bölümümüzün genç kadın öğrencileri için koşuyorum.

Amacım, bölümümüzde okuyan başarılı ve ihtiyaç sahibi öğrencilere burs desteği sağlamak.
Eğitime yapılan her katkı, bir gencin hayatında kalıcı bir fark yaratır. Bazen bir burs, sadece maddi destek değil; “Yalnız değilsin” demektir!

Seminar: 5G: Expanding the Horizon of IoT

Abstract: 5G has finally arrived in Türkiye, but at Teltonika, we’ve been watching this revolution unfold globally for years. While many see 5G as just a 'faster phone,' my team and I see it as a massive industrial shift. I’m going to share global success stories - real-world deployments where Teltonika 5G equipment has already moved the needle. We’ll look at how this technology is opening doors to 'impossible' innovations. I will show you that 5G isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a tool that is already rewriting the rules of global business.

Bio: Tadas Litinskas has been with Teltonika for over 8 years, driving growth across the Americas and Europe before taking the lead here in Türkiye three years ago. Hisackground spans from Marketing and global training to collaborating directly with our R&D teams to design these devices. In this seminar he will try to bridge that global experience with local opportunities, showing the participants how the hardware he has helped develop is now redefining industries through 5G and IoT.

The presentation language will be English.

The InfluenceHub project is a centralized platform designed to streamline influencer marketing and event bookings by connecting brands with influencers and event organizers with performers. This innovative solution aims to reduce advertising costs, enhance brand visibility, simplify event planning, and support local artists and small businesses. Key features of the platform include customized collaboration matching, real-time communication tools, performance analytics, and a marketplace for local entities. By integrating influencer marketing and performance booking, InfluenceHub not only promotes inclusivity and local economic growth but also enhances user experience and collaboration success.

CTIS actively supports and takes part in a number of exchange programs, the most important being Erasmus+, of which we have been a member since 2005. 

This year, we had a record number of Erasmus+ applications. Both the faculty and students are so excited about the 2025-2026 placement results, which will be announced on Friday, December 6th.
