Figure out the answer the product of this pair number
( 978 , 998)?

Answer :
978x998 = (978+998-10^3).10^3+
(10^3-978)(10^3-998)
= 1976 x 1000 +2x22
= 1976000+44
= 1976044

Question 2 :

Find the product of the pair number ( 8 , 8 )?

Answer:

8x8 = (8+8-10).10 + (10-2)(10-2)
8x8 = 6x10+2x2
8x8 = 60+4
8x8 = 64

Question 3:

Multiply 1 by 1 ?

Answer :

1x1 = (1+1-10).10 + (10-1)(10-1)
1x1 = (2-10).10 + 9x9
1x1= - 8x10 + 81
1x1 = - 80 + 81
1x1 = 81-80 = 1

Question 4 :

Find the product of this pair (9, 7) ?

Answer :

9x7 = (9+7-10).10+(10-9)(10-7)
9x7 = (16-10).10 + 1x3
9x7 = 6x10+ 1x3
9x7 = 60+3
