Introducing to you Coach Nour Mseddi!

Nour has a bachelor degree in Private law and a Master degree in Common law. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Université de Carthage. 👩🏼‍🎓

Nour works as a junior legal counsel at Houerbi Law Firm (Arbitration department) and as an adjunct professor at Faculty of Political, Legal and Social Sciences of Tunis.

She got involved in the Vis Moot as a participant in 2019 and has been coaching the Carthage team ever since. I guess she loves it that she can't picture herself leaving it! ✨

Nour is known to be a Cool Coach and an extremely patient one. She does have a penchant for maximizing personal productivity by so accepting the team’s quirky personality traits and humorous characters. Yet, be careful because once she loses her temper, it becomes a "Hell’s Kitchen". 🔱

Nour’s blood type is caffeine and therefore, her good mood is sponsored by coffee !☕️

Introducing to you .belasker !

Nadine is a former mootie in the 29th Vis Moot and the 12th Middle East Pre-Moot.

She holds a Licence in Public Law and is currently conducting research on « Sovereign Immunity and International Arbitration » under the Common Law master’s degree department.
She is also pursuing a second Licence degree in Philosophy. ⚖

Being a member of the Legal Education Advancement and Development Association, she held various roles and tasks including the organization of 3 national annual student symposiums, the Excellence in Research Awards as well as the arrangement of the Tunisian Essential Collection of legal Research.

Nadine Belasker is a junior editor at the Mediterranean Journal of Legal Research and an editor in the Juridic Times Faculty blog. ✍🏼

She also interned at multiple institutions including the compliance department at Assurances AMI, the National Authority of Access to Information and, most recently, a Tunisian Law firm virtually.

Confident that the Vis is above all an excellent educational journey, she couldn’t but participate for another season. ✊
Nadine Belasker considers that seeing things from another perspective is a great opportunity to consolidate all she learned the previous year and to pay it forward. 💫💫

She believes that the key to managing team work is about the balance between redressing weaknesses and maximizing strengths. 💯

Nadine is hard-working and detail-oriented but once she gets too tired, she just starts baking. 🤭

Last but not least, the cherry on top 🍒Khouloud JEBARI a.k.a thekhouloudjebari.

Khouloud holds a Bachelor Degree in Private Law from the Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences of Tunis and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Common Law at the same faculty. 👩🏼‍🎓

She might have an intermediate level in Spanish Language, but she fluently speaks French, English and Arabic (Sarcasm included). As for handwriting, her perk is having a Shakespearean cursive style.

Khouloud is an overachiever and therefore being competitive goes without saying.

She is not only athletic, but has also taken part in various extracurricular activities such as french theatre, music, establishing and joining several clubs throughout High School and University.

She won the first edition of Hult Prize OnCampus Program at FSJPST, was qualified to both Tunis and Madrid regionals, and was chosen as a Campus Director the following year.

Moreover, she was a consultant for a Junior Enterprise, worked for StartupGateX and interned in law firms.
From a young age, Khouloud has aspired and thrived to be a Corporate Lawyer, and never had eyes for any other pathway.

She is known for her strong personality, unshakable confidence, excellent public speaking skills and is probably one of the sassiest and most savage persons you will ever meet.

Although she looks taught and inapproachable at first glance, she is a soft once you get to know her (while keeping your behaviour in check).

It is crucial to also highlight that she can turn any situation into a joke, any photo into a meme and is your go-to person for the catchiest of captions.
In addition, two things she can almost never do right albeit, being on time and pronouncing German scholars' names correctly.

Khouloud's philosophy is quite simple, she is an existentialist who believes that neither life nor anyone owes her anything, if she wants something she works hard for it and outer space is the limit. One rule about that though, work hard, play harder.

Ladies and gentlemen introducing our 3rd member Nour Guesmi.

Nour Guesmi (you can call her nawara 🌼). She’s 23 y/o and the team’s visual😇.

She has a bachelor degree in Private Law and currently pursuing a Common Law Master.

She speaks 4 languages, Arabic, French, English and Chinese, She also speaks a little bit of Korean and Hindi.

Her hobby is sleeping, what she does in her free time is obviously… 😴
And the easiest way to her heart is 🍔🍕.

Despite her love for sleeping, she was part of different NGOs and clubs and did many internships related to law and other fields such as management and entrepreneurship.

Nour is really interested in criminal law and her love for crime and investigation movies/series is beyond imagination.

Everyone thinks she is a feminist while she is just stating facts, believing that both genders should be treated equally. She never looked away when someone is being treated wrongly or badly, that’s why she always gets in trouble 🥲.

She is the funniest member in the team but don’t you try her.

When it comes to work she is known for being strict and sometimes harsh, but she always gets the job done PERFECTLY.

If she can choose a quote that represents her, it would be « What goes around comes around »❤️

Introducing to you

Yosr is 24 years old, holds a bachelor degree in public law and Is currently pursuing a common law master.

She interned in the Court of Audit and many NGO's and is an activist in many clubs and associations.

In addition, Yosr is currently the head of the communication committee in "Ifriqiya association".

She also participtaed twice in HULT PRIZE competition, and her team was the second winning team. This experience helped her develop her vision and entrepreneurship skills.

Yosr is known for being a feminist, She has always believed that " this is not a men vs. women issue, it's about people vs. prejudice". [Laura Bates]

She the quietest in the team, she usually looks serious and strict, but wait until you see her imitation skills. 😌

Singing is her passion, as she always says " I do not speak words, I sing them."
She feels that where words fail, music speaks.

Yosr is an introvert, she enjoys spending cozy rainy days home with a hot cup of coffee and an episode, or maybe ten 😂 of her favourite series.

Introducing to you Nour Ben Mefteh!

Nour holds a bachelor in private law and is currently pursuing a common law master! 👩🏼‍🎓

Growing up, she learned playing four instruments as she simply could not settle for one ! We guess her indecisive want-it-all attitude is the only constant about her 😂

Nour is very interested in politics and political science. She Believes in a world led by empowered youth. She has been active in her community since a very young age. In addition, she is currently holding the position of External Affairs Manager in WeYouth Organization.

For Nour, choosing law school falls within her vision of aiming to implement the change she wants to see around her.

For this reason, participating in the vis is more than a professional experience for her: she believes that it is a cross-cultural experience that would help her grow as a person.

Arts & literature have always been a great part of Nour’s life.

In the team, she is most known for the sense of attention to details and she planifies everything in her notebook! She thinks that expecting everything helps her deal with unexpected and adapt quickly.

Irrespective of the taken way, they slay✨️

Our journey at the 29th Willem C. Vis Moot finally comes to an end!

We would like to begin first by congratulating our mooties Loujain Khmiri Nadine Belasker Rihem Chine Rassaa for their amazing performance, hard work and commitment during these past 8 months 👏🏼👏🏼.

Also shout out to the 70 teams we’ve met from more than 35 jurisdictions during this journey 😍😍.

Finally we would like extend our appreciation and gratitude to our coaches Ghada Arfaoui and Nour Mseddi for their full support and guidance.

And with that we rest our case and hope that Ms Bupati and Mr Chandra will leave us alone now 😔 (though we believe they will hunt our dreams for the foreseeable future 😂).

We are happy to announce that the Université de Carthage team was the 2nd runner up in the Middle East Pre moot held in Bahrain

After pleading in the general rounds, our team reached the quarter finals, semi finals and then the finals.

Meet the Team (4/4)

Sara Rassaa, 26 year old. She has started her legal studies in 2013 and since then she obtained a bachelor's degree in law and a higher education diploma in International Law from Cairo University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Common Law in Carthage University. 🎓

Sara's favorite fields of law are private international law and contract law. She is also interested in English-Arabic translation and has a professional diploma in legal and UN translation. 👩‍🏫

She loves drawning mandalas, reading, and making her own accessories. She also loves street photography, especially if the photo includes a street cat 🐈💛

She is interested in mental health awareness and social well-being. Her motto is "If you can't change the world, make it a little better" 🗣️

Rihem chine, 23 year-old Tunisian, has a bachelor degree in Private Law and currently pursuing a Master degree in Common law at Carthage University 🎓

She speaks English,French,Arabic fluently and a little bit of spanish.

She is a woman full of life,a passionate individual and an active citizen,participent in iidebate,a BOC in Hult prize and current member in the tunisian association"Legal Education Advancement and Developpemrent" (LEAD). 💯

Rihem holds great interest in business law. 👩‍🏫

Her Motto in life is "Dream it, Plan it, do it" 🌙

As an individual that insists on the binarism between "living" and '' simply existing'', she sees the potential in each and everyone which enables her to be a good communicator. 🗣️
