It might not seem obvious, but healthy hygiene habits can save lives.
Poor hygiene means children get sick and miss school, adults can't work to support their families, and patients are at risk in health centres. Whole communities miss out on opportunities to improve their lives.
When a community gets clean water and decent toilets for the first time, they also have the power to change their hygiene habits. They can keep themselves and their environment clean, stay healthy and stop diseases spreading, and live dignified lives.

The good news is, there is good in all of us.

And regardless of how much bad happens,
it does not reduce, deplete,
subtract from the good in all of us.

We don't meet people by accident. Everyone we meet on our journey teaches us something.
It is my belief we are here as humans beings to learn and grow and to create change. Throughout our days we meet many people. If we stop and really be present in the moment, we might notice the check out girl who smiles at everyone and always has something nice to say; or we might notice the homeless man tending to his dog on the side of the road. The qualities we all possess are within all of us and we can see them if we stop and observe..maybe we need to smile more, maybe we need to show more kindness or whatever might be shown to you. What do you think?
