A Floating Flagpole in Scouting
A floating flagpole in Scouting is a temporary flagpole that is not put into the ground.
It is held up by ropes tied to stakes, trees, or strong objects.
It is often used in Scout activities such as:
🏕️ Camping
🏕️ Outdoor activities
🏕️ Knot-tying practice
Characteristics
It is not buried in the ground.
It is tied with ropes in 3–4 directions.
It is easy to set up and take down.
It helps Scouts practice teamwork and knot skills.
Purposes
✅ To practice using ropes and knots
✅ To learn teamwork and responsibility
✅ To raise the national flag at camp
✅ To use in places where digging is not possible
Example
When Scouts go camping in the forest and cannot dig a hole,
they use wood and ropes to make a floating flagpole.
เสาธงลอยของลูกเสือ คือ
เสาธงแบบชั่วคราวที่ ไม่ได้ฝังลงดิน แต่ใช้วิธี ผูกเชือกและยึดกับหลัก/ต้นไม้/สมอบก ให้ตั้งตรงได้เอง
มักใช้ในกิจกรรมลูกเสือ–เนตรนารี เช่น
🏕️ การเข้าค่ายพักแรม
🏕️ กิจกรรมกลางแจ้ง
🏕️ การฝึกทักษะการผูกเงื่อน
ลักษณะของเสาธงลอย
ไม่ต้องขุดหลุมฝังเสา
ใช้เชือกผูกยึด 3–4 ทิศทาง
ตั้งได้ชั่วคราว และรื้อถอนได้ง่าย
ฝึกทักษะ “เงื่อน–การผูกยึด–การทำงานเป็นทีม”
วัตถุประสงค์
✅ ฝึกความอดทนและความร่วมมือ
✅ ฝึกการใช้เชือกและเงื่อน
✅ ใช้สำหรับพิธีเชิญธงชาติในค่าย
✅ ปรับใช้ในพื้นที่ที่ขุดดินไม่ได้
ตัวอย่างการใช้งาน
เช่น เวลาค่ายลูกเสือในป่า
ไม่มีฐานคอนกรีต → ใช้ไม้ยาว + เชือก → ทำเสาธงลอยแทน
