St Andrews International School Bangkok

Following our successful reaccreditation, St Andrews Bangkok was pleased to host the IQM Thailand event on 15 May 2026, welcoming representatives from schools across the country to learn more about the Inclusion Quality Mark.

The event provided an opportunity to share our journey, exchange practical insights, and support other schools in developing inclusive practices, reflecting our ongoing commitment to strengthening inclusion both within our community and across Thailand.

Another great day for our Year 12 students on the service trip to Baan Luuk Rak. Within minutes of arriving the children at the home had come to greet them. The students are growing in confidence and highlights included making paper airplanes, an interactive English lesson, a competition to build the tallest tower using play doh and cocktail sticks, and a talk on Thailand's sea slugs. There was also lots of time to play.

Our Year 12 Students have had a busy day connecting with the children at Baan Luuk Rak children's home in Khon Kaen. This is an amazing experience for our students to show their empathy and care to others.

From 29–31 May 2026, a group of our Year 6, Year 7 and Year 8 students attended the annual Nord Anglia STEAM Festival at our sister school, BVIS Ho Chi Minh City.

As part of the Nord Anglia Education family, our students have a valuable opportunity to collaborate with peers across the network each year. Working to the theme ‘Engineering in Flow’, they completed four challenges, including building a grabber, designing a water-carrying car, constructing a bridge and creating a zip line.

They showed strong teamwork, creativity and problem-solving throughout. We are proud of how they represented STA on an international stage.

Our Primary School musicians have been recognised in the Nord Anglia Global Campus Virtual Young Musician of the Year, an international competition that connects students across schools worldwide and provides a platform to perform, receive feedback and develop confidence.

Congratulations to:
Winners: Pam in Year 4 and the STA Sing Senior Choir.
Runners-up: Rela in Year 6, Preme in Year 2 and Prim in Year 6.

With over 3,758 students from 57 schools taking part, more than 150 children from Years 1 to 6 represented the school this year. Participation in Global Campus competitions supports students in building performance skills, resilience and a wider appreciation of music. Well done to all involved.

We are pleased to celebrate the success of our students in Years 9, 10 and 13, who achieved a 100% pass rate in the DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française).

Reflecting months of dedicated preparation and strong performance across all four key language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking, this internationally recognised qualification provides a valuable lifelong credential.
