Meet our new STARS Primary Teacher, Mr Michael!🌟
Working across Year 1, Year 2, EAL, and Learning Support in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, Mr Michael brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our Primary School. He holds a PGCE in Primary Education with WTS and a BA (Hons) in Cinema & Photography, and has worked in a variety of educational settings both in Thailand and the UK. His previous roles include Art Teacher at Assumption College Sriracha, Year 2 Teacher and SENCo at Kids Academy International School Srinakarin, and teaching across EYFS, Primary, and Special Educational Needs in the UK.
Mr Michael is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and helping every child reach their full potential. When asked how they would describe him, his students say he is kind, silly, and fun, and that he makes learning exciting, qualities that perfectly reflect his warm and supportive approach in the classroom.
Outside of school, Mr Michael enjoys a wide range of creative and active pursuits, including playing the piano and guitar, fitness, Muay Thai, dancing, painting, and exploring great food, especially Thai cuisine. Before embarking on his teaching career, he worked in the film and television industry, contributing to productions for the BBC, HBO, and even the world-renowned series Game of Thrones.
