Organized by the College of Public Affairs and Development (CPAf), University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), ICGD4 centered around the theme:

The ICGD4 or 4th International Conference for Governance and Development is organized by the UPLB College of Public Affairs and Development and the Kasetsart University, with the theme “Governance for Impact: Championing Global Citizenship and Empowering Communities.” It’s happening on July 31–August 2, 2025 at Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, Thailand, with pre-conference workshops on July 30.

CIFAL Bangkok , in collaboration with AIT Extension and the Human Development Forum Foundation, presents a new training course on "Sustainable Leadership in Crisis."

➡️ This initiative aims to increase participants' awareness and adeptness in handling crises in business operations and daily life. The training adheres closely to international regulations and considers best practices.

📋 Focus points are situational awareness, risk mapping, and developing risk mitigation strategies tailored for leaders facing various crisis scenarios.

Participants will learn, during four days of onsite training, to increase theoretical knowledge and develop the necessary skills and confidence to navigate and respond to challenges in crises effectively.

On January 29, 2025, the Director of CIFAL Bangkok, Mr. Voravate Chonlasin, was honored to join the "Connect & Conserve 2025" sustainability awareness workshop, organized by the Office of Sustainable Campus (OSC) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). As the Guest of Honor, he delivered the opening remarks, sharing his vision for sustainability and the role of education in driving sustainable development.

This highly immersive event featured engaging activities, including a Sustainability Debate Competition, presentations on AIT's sustainability initiatives, contributions from the Student Union to campus sustainability, an SDG Games Fair, and valuable networking opportunities.

CIFAL Bangkok was proud to collaborate with OSC in fostering awareness and enhancing participants' skills in advancing sustainability at AIT and beyond.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Sireesha Bantu, Director of the Office of Sustainable Campus, for the kind invitation to this meaningful event and look forward to future collaborations!

We're excited to share our latest milestone in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the ASEAN Secretariat! 🎉

From 15-16 January 2025, our Director, Mr. Voravate Chonlasin, represented CIFAL Bangkok at the Workshop and Training on Accessing Climate Finance in ASEAN, held in the beautiful city of Luang Prabang, Lao PDR.

Together with the ASEAN Member States, we collaborated to develop a comprehensive program proposal aimed at unlocking opportunities through the Green Climate Fund (GCF). This initiative underscores our commitment to fostering sustainable development and climate resilience across the region. 🌿
