๐ŸŒ Climate Science Communications: Needs, Challenges & Opportunities

We successfully hosted a lecture by Mr. Jonathan Lynn, Independent Media and Communication Consultant and former Head of IPCC Communications and Media Relations.

The session addressed the need to translate complex climate science for the public and policymakers, highlighting how scientific communication can align with media workflows through embargoes and briefings. It also emphasized the importance of local relevance and clear, concise messaging, while discussing key challenges such as ideological resistance and communicating uncertainty, using the IPCCโ€™s โ€œevery choice mattersโ€ framework.
