Our learners spent the morning turning blank canvases into trees bursting with colour, choosing their own petals, their own shades, their own style.

And of course, the best part came at the end: showing it off with the biggest smile. 🌳🎨

Our learners spent the morning making pizza from scratch, with their mums leading the way through every step, from rolling out the dough to picking their favorite toppings.

It wasn't just about the pizza. It was about listening closely, trying something new, and feeling proud of what they made with their own hands.

And of course, the best part came after all the hard work: eating it!

The index finger and thumb have to pinch just the edge, steady the sheet with the other hand, and pull without tearing. Then comes the second challenge: placing it straight onto a smooth, curved bottle without letting it crease or slip.

As part of our Mother Teaching Volunteer Program, our Super Moms joined our learners for a personalized water bottle design workshop. Sitting side-by-side, our parent volunteers held the space for deep concentration, spatial awareness, and creative choice as each child turned an everyday object into something entirely their own.

Teaching children to prepare their own food builds confidence they carry far beyond the kitchen.

As part of our Mother Teaching Volunteer Program, our Super Moms stepped into the classroom to guide our learners through a hands-on sandwich workshop. Moving through each step with patient encouragement, the children practiced bilateral hand control, sequencing, and the simple pride of assembling their own meal from start to finish.

A circular plate changes how a child moves. Unlike a flat page, little hands must constantly tilt, press, and cross the body's midline to reach every edge without letting the plate slip.

During our Mother’s Day parent volunteer session, our little ones took on this tactile challenge with patience and curiosity. Sitting side by side with a mother to guide them, they practiced the quiet art of adjusting their grip, managing pressure, and transforming a simple everyday circle into something personal.

Having a parent sit right at their level—not taking over, but simply holding the space with patience while they figure it out—turned a simple craft into a quiet, meaningful lesson in focus and connection.
