CIE students visited Tokai University. There was a good opportunity to visit 4 laboratories and enjoy beautiful campus.

The labs we visited are Inaba lab and Takemura lab in the department of applied computer engineering, as well as Kai lab and Yamamoto lab in the department of mechanical engineering. We had a fruitful discussion with professors and lab members.

CIE Singapore Academic Field Trip 2022 - Day 1

It's time for CIE 5th generation to visit Singapore! This year, students get a chance to visit National University of Singapore (NUS) and attend the activities in the following agenda:
- Lab visit Advanced Robotics Center (ARC)
- Get to know how Robotics and AI field could help the industry
- Brief presentation on applications for each use case in robots field
- Explore NUS

In previous weekend our students participated in AIEI X Lotus's Hackathon 2022. The proposal theme is "Customer Life Stage to Create Personalization Shopping Experience at Lotus's". Students were able to apply their knowledge and skill to form a plan for pitching especially on business plan and AI models. Many of our students have enjoyed it. 🟢🟡 We are pleased to invite students from the AI Engineering Institue partner university to attend “𝐀𝐈𝐄𝐈 𝐗 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐮𝐬’𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐,” which will be held from October 29 to 30, 2022, at HM Building School of Engineering King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang under the topic: 𝑪𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆 “𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆.” Participants will collaborate in a varied group from several colleges, practice cooperation skills in various settings, and broaden their understanding of retail business knowledge. Moreover, the first-place winning team in the competition will be given an award, and other participants will also receive a certificate of participation.

• Getting to know the role of the consultant: The consultant does not get the exact answer but instead helps shape the answer to the customer's problems.

In collaboration with the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Institute (AIE), King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and CMKL University are launching a dual bachelor's degree program for the first time. Students can enroll in all courses from both the Computer Innovation Engineering Program (CIE) at KMITL and the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering Program (AiCE) at CMKL, and both institutions are introducing competency-based education.
