In this work, layering is not decoration.
It is construction, identity, and time made visible.

The tortoiseshell reveals depth through transparency—
light passing through, exposing what sits beneath.
Then a contrasting layer interrupts—bold, matte, controlled—
framing the softness with precision.

Even the clip-on becomes another chapter of layering:
not an addition, but a transformation.
A shift in function, mood, and character—
from optical clarity to shadow and protection.

Layer by layer, the frame becomes more than an object.
It becomes a structure of thought—
