✨คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ จัดโครงการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ “การพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรด้านการจัดการเครื่องมือและการป้องกันควบคุมการติดเชื้อ”

ในการนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก
🎤ทพญ.อลิสา อาวะภาค (ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายโรงพยาบาลทันตกรรมด้านพัฒนาคุณภาพ) เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดการอบรม พร้อมกล่าวถึงความสำคัญของการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรด้านการจัดการเครื่องมือและการป้องกันควบคุมการติดเชื้อ ซึ่งเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการยกระดับคุณภาพการให้บริการและความปลอดภัยของผู้รับบริการในโรงพยาบาลทันตกรรม
การจัดโครงการครั้งนี้ดำเนินการโดยคณะกรรมการป้องกันและควบคุมการติดเชื้อและหน่วยจ่ายกลาง โรงพยาบาลทันตกรรม คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และทักษะในการปฏิบัติงานด้านการจัดการเครื่องมือทางการแพทย์และการป้องกันควบคุมการติดเชื้อ อันเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญในการยกระดับคุณภาพการให้บริการ ตลอดจนเตรียมความพร้อมสู่การรับรองคุณภาพสถานพยาบาลในระดับ Advance
ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจาก
🎤อาจารย์ภัทรพร น้อยเล็ก (อดีตหัวหน้าแผนกเวชภัณฑ์ปลอดเชื้อ โรงพยาบาลศิริราชปิยมหาราชการุณย์)เป็นวิทยากรพิเศษ ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านการจัดการเครื่องมือทางการแพทย์ การป้องกันและควบคุมการติดเชื้อในโรงพยาบาลทันตกรรม รวมถึงแนวทางการปฏิบัติงานตามมาตรฐานวิชาชีพ
กิจกรรมในช่วงเช้าเป็นการบรรยายให้ความรู้โดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ครอบคลุมประเด็นสำคัญเกี่ยวกับการจัดการเครื่องมือทางการแพทย์และระบบการป้องกันควบคุมการติดเชื้อ ขณะที่ภาคบ่ายเป็นกิจกรรม Workshop ฝึกปฏิบัติจริง จำนวน 4 ฐานการเรียนรู้ ประกอบด้วย ฐานการล้างมืออย่างถูกต้องตามมาตรฐาน ฐานการล้างทำความสะอาดเครื่องมือทางการแพทย์ ฐานการตรวจสอบและบรรจุหีบห่อเครื่องมือสำหรับการทำให้ปราศจากเชื้อด้วยระบบไอน้ำ (Steam Sterilization) และฐานการตรวจสอบและบรรจุหีบห่อเครื่องมือสำหรับการทำให้ปราศจากเชื้อด้วยระบบแก๊สไฮโดรเจนเปอร์ออกไซด์ (Hydrogen Peroxide Gas Plasma)
โครงการดังกล่าวมุ่งหวังให้บุคลากรมีความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และทักษะด้านการป้องกันและควบคุมการติดเชื้อเพิ่มขึ้น สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการปฏิบัติงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ส่งผลให้หน่วยงานมีระบบการจัดการเครื่องมือและการป้องกันควบคุมการติดเชื้อที่ได้มาตรฐาน สอดคล้องกับแนวทางการพัฒนาคุณภาพของคณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ และสร้างความเชื่อมั่นด้านความปลอดภัยแก่ผู้รับบริการอย่างยั่งยืน

# PSU Faculty of Dentistry Organizes Workshop on Instrument Management and Infection Prevention and Control
On June 5, 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry, Prince of Songkla University, organized a hands-on workshop entitled **“Enhancing Personnel Competency in Instrument Management and Infection Prevention and Control”** at Meeting Room 1, 7th Floor, Building 3, and the Smart Classroom, 6th Floor, Building 3. The event was attended by 50 participants, including personnel and stakeholders responsible for infection prevention and control within the Dental Hospital.
The opening ceremony was presided over by **Dr. Alisa Awapak, Assistant Dean for Quality Development, Dental Hospital Affairs**, who emphasized the importance of strengthening personnel competencies in instrument management and infection prevention and control as a key mechanism for enhancing service quality and ensuring patient safety in the dental healthcare setting.
The workshop was organized by the Infection Prevention and Control Committee and the Central Sterile Supply Unit (CSSD) of the Dental Hospital, Faculty of Dentistry. Its primary objective was to enhance participants’ knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in medical instrument management and infection prevention and control. These competencies are essential for improving healthcare service quality and supporting the Faculty’s readiness for Advanced Hospital Accreditation.
The event featured a special lecture by **Ms. Pattaraporn Noilek**, former Head of the Sterile Medical Supply Department at Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital. She shared her expertise and professional experience in medical instrument management, infection prevention and control in dental healthcare settings, and best practices aligned with professional standards.
The morning session consisted of expert-led lectures covering key topics related to medical instrument management and infection prevention and control systems. In the afternoon, participants engaged in practical workshops through four learning stations:
1. Proper Hand Hygiene According to Standard Guidelines
2. Standard Cleaning and Decontamination of Medical Instruments
3. Inspection and Packaging of Instruments for Steam Sterilization, including Sterilization Monitoring and Quality Assurance
4. Inspection and Packaging of Instruments for Hydrogen Peroxide Gas Plasma Sterilization, including Sterilization Monitoring and Quality Assurance
This workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge, understanding, and practical competencies in infection prevention and control, enabling them to apply these skills effectively in their daily work. The initiative is expected to contribute to higher standards of instrument management and infection control practices across departments, in alignment with the Faculty of Dentistry’s quality development goals, while fostering confidence and safety among patients and service recipients.
