This is what 11-year-olds are capable of when you give them the right environment.
At Mooltripakdee International School, 87 students didn’t just “play games” this term.
They:
🦑 built brands
🦑 coached teams
🦑 created content strategies
🦑 presented in front of a live audience
And one student?
Hosted the entire event.
Confident. Clear. In control.
That doesn’t happen by accident.
It comes from structure, ownership, and giving students roles that actually matter.
This is esports as education.
Proud of every student and huge credit to the teachers who made it happen week after week. James Kemp James Ward

This is part of an 11-year-old student’s term-end esports wellness project at Mooltripakdee International School, delivered through the Squid Academy Modern Sport Pathways & Competition Framework.
As part of the Wellness Coach role, students explore topics such as injury awareness and when to ask for adult support.
When asked the question shown on this slide, her response was: “When something hurts and you don’t know why or how to fix it.”
This is what holistic looks like - using esports to teach awareness, communication, and responsibility, even for students as young as 11!

We’re excited to welcome another school into our esports education community 🎮🦑🎓
After successful programs at โรงเรียนเมืองพัทยา 11 (มัธยมสาธิตพัทยา) (Pattaya City 11 School), มหาไถ่ศึกษาขอนแก่น (Holy Redeemer School Khon Kaen), and Mooltripakdee International School, we’re proud to share that Squid Academy’s Modern Sport & Competition Framework has officially launched at Regents International School Pattaya.
Led by teachers Rachel Perry and Julia Thomson, this program uses esports as a safe, structured learning environment - not just gaming. Lessons take place offline in the classroom, supported by online tools and supervised competition, keeping learning social, balanced, and human.
Students build real-world skills like teamwork, communication, leadership, and digital responsibility, while gaining insight into esports and digital career pathways; all with clear boundaries and adult guidance.
Parents and educators interested in a responsible, education-first approach to esports are welcome to get in touch to learn more.

This isn’t mindless gameplay.
This is esports used as a structured learning environment, not just entertainment at Mooltripakdee International School.
Designed by Squid Academy, our safe, internationally accredited framework teaches real pathways beyond just playing the game including journalism, casting, event and sponsorship management (& much much more).
Supported by proprietary technology, including an LMS and native tournament platform, this is esports as education; not screen time, but skill time.
