มฟล. จัดกิจกรรม “Public Cupping” เปิดชิมกาแฟ 33 ตัวอย่าง จากเวที Cup of Excellence Thailand 2026 โครงการเมืองนวัตกรรมอาหารส่วนขยาย มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ร่วมกับกลุ่มวิจัยพัฒนากาแฟคุณภาพ (CQR) และ Cup of Excellence Thailand (COE) จัดกิจกรรม "Public Cupping" เปิดให้อาจารย์ นักวิจัย นักศึกษา เกษตรกร ผู้ประกอบการ และบุคคลทั่วไป ร่วมชิมกาแฟที่ผ่านการประกวด Cup of Excellence Thailand 2026 จำนวน 33 ตัวอย่าง เมื่อวันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ ห้อง Food Maker Space (MI405) อาคาร I-Park มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง
ผู้เข้าร่วมได้สัมผัสรสชาติกาแฟพิเศษ (Specialty Coffee) พร้อมเรียนรู้กระบวนการคัดเลือกกาแฟ มาตรฐานการประเมินรสชาติ และคุณลักษณะเฉพาะของกาแฟแต่ละแหล่งผลิต กิจกรรมนี้ยังส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคการศึกษา ภาคเกษตรกรรม และภาคธุรกิจ ในการยกระดับกาแฟไทยสู่ระดับสากล และสนับสนุนเกษตรกรพัฒนาคุณภาพผลผลิตอย่างยั่งยืน พร้อมประชาสัมพันธ์บทบาทของโครงการเมืองนวัตกรรมอาหารส่วนขยาย มฟล. ให้เป็นที่รู้จักในวงกว้าง
มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงหวังให้กิจกรรมนี้ช่วยยกระดับความรู้เกี่ยวกับกาแฟพิเศษให้แก่เกษตรกร นักศึกษา และผู้ประกอบการในห่วงโซ่อุตสาหกรรมกาแฟ พร้อมสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือที่อาจนำไปสู่ความร่วมมือเชิงวิชาการหรือเชิงพาณิชย์ในอนาคต
โครงการเมืองนวัตกรรมอาหารส่วนขยาย มฟล. ยังคงเดินหน้าจัดกิจกรรมถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และเชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายด้านอุตสาหกรรมอาหารในพื้นที่อย่างต่อเนื่อง
MFU Hosts “Public Cupping” Event Featuring 33 Coffee Samples from Cup of Excellence Thailand 2026
Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through the Food Innopolis Extension Project at MFU, in collaboration with the Coffee Quality Research Group (CQR) and Cup of Excellence Thailand (COE), hosted a "Public Cupping" event on July 27, 2026 at the Food Maker Space (MI405), I-Park Building, MFU. The event welcomed faculty members, researchers, students, farmers, entrepreneurs, and coffee enthusiasts to sample 33 coffee entries from the Cup of Excellence Thailand 2026 competition.
Participants explored specialty coffee flavor profiles while gaining insights into selection processes, sensory evaluation standards, and the unique characteristics of coffees from diverse origins. The event fostered collaboration across academia, agriculture, and business to elevate Thai specialty coffee to international standards, empower local farmers to sustainably improve crop quality and add value to their products, while highlight MFU's pivotal role in driving food innovation.
MFU aims for this initiative to enhance specialty coffee knowledge among stakeholders throughout the coffee value chain, while strengthening network connections that could foster future academic and commercial partnerships. The Food Innopolis Extension Project at MFU remains committed to advancing the region's agri-food sector through ongoing knowledge-sharing and networking activities. .
