Molecular Research on Aquatic Organisms 01/04/2026

🔬 Exploring the Hidden Molecular World of Aquatic Life

What if the key to global food security, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation lies beneath the water’s surface?

Aquatic ecosystems are home to most of Earth’s biodiversity — yet the molecular mechanisms that drive their survival, adaptation, and health are still being uncovered.

🌊 Introducing the Special Issue: Molecular Research on Aquatic Organisms
Published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (MDPI)

This Special Issue brings together cutting-edge research across:
✨ Genomics | Transcriptomics | Proteomics | Metabolomics | Epigenomics
✨ Multi-omics integration across fish, crustaceans, molluscs, algae & microbiomes

🔍 Key research frontiers include:
– CRISPR-based functional genomics
– Single-cell & spatial transcriptomics
– Host–pathogen–microbiome interactions
– Climate adaptation & thermal resilience
– Environmental DNA (eDNA) & biosensing
– Molecular ecotoxicology & emerging contaminants
– Conservation genomics & aquaculture biotechnology

🌱 More than just science — this is about building a sustainable future for aquaculture and aquatic ecosystems worldwide.

👩‍🔬 Whether you're working in molecular biology, ecology, biotechnology, or aquaculture — this is your platform to contribute, collaborate, and make an impact.

🎉 Congratulations! 🎉

Our research article titled “Dietary Encapsulation of a Novel Lysinibacillus sp. PWR01 Probiotic Modulates Growth, Antioxidant, Immune Gene Expression, and Gut Health in Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) against Aeromonas hydrophila Infection” has been accepted for publication in the Antioxidants journal (ISI Q1, Impact Factor 6.6).

This work highlights the potential of probiotic encapsulation to improve fish health, immunity, and disease resistance in sustainable aquaculture.

We sincerely thank all collaborators and contributors for their support in this research.
