Facilitators / Instructors of AI and Design & Business Workshops for Young Learners (Multiple positions, part-time)
Thoth Language School is launching an interdisciplinary programme with the aim of exploring the intersections between AI literacy and creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving for young students. We are seeking practitioners and educators with an academic background and professional experience in Artificial Intelligence or related fields as well as design or business. We welcome candidates from diverse disciplines who are excited about helping young learners understand how emerging technologies can be applied creatively and responsibly in real-world contexts.
1/ Role Overview
- Design and facilitate engaging workshops for students (aged 6-9 and 10-12) to explore the intersections between AI and creative design or AI and business practices.
- Adapt technical concepts into age-appropriate, scaffolded learning modules to cultivate a student-led and project-based research environment.
- Monitor the individual student progress and provide detailed, constructive feedback to students and stakeholders.
2/ Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in Artificial Intelligence, computer engineering, robotics, or related fields. Experience in design (e.g. game design, fashion design, graphic design, architecture), or business-related disciplines (e.g. economics, finance, entrepreneurship) is highly desirable.
- Teaching experience is preferable but not mandatory.
- High level of English proficiency, especially in speaking and writing.
- Passion for education, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster a supportive learning atmosphere where students feel encouraged to explore various topics.
3/ Location and Timetable
The school is based in Hang D**g District of Chiang Mai. The workshops are conducted in person at the school primarily during weekdays. Specific teaching dates and hours are negotiable.
