It was wonderful to welcome this student back to the online class after her three-month absence. She showed great enthusiasm in learning the new /bl/ sound. She confidently read related words and completed worksheets with clear understanding. Overall, she transitioned smoothly back into her online classes.

The student concentrated on the /ure/ sound. She read words containing this sound and completed related worksheets. Subsequently, she provided additional words with the /ure/ sound to reinforce her learning. The discussion was engaging. I look forward to introducing a new sound to her this week.

The student watched a video titled “Seeing is Believing.” In the video, three girls met women who were working in their dream jobs. The student felt inspired after watching it and then shared his own aspirations for the future. Together, we discussed ideas on how he could help young girls feel more ambitious. Overall, it was a meaningful and engaging discussion. I look forward to our next lesson together.

The student had a listening class where he listened to an audio recording about “The History of Hand Gestures.” He learned about four hand gestures: thumbs up, salute, high five, and handshake. He then explored the history of each gesture and discovered useful information about their origins. When asked about a famous hand gesture in his country, he shared the reason behind it. It was an engaging and active discussion. I look forward to exploring a new topic with him this week.

Over the weekend, the student dedicated time to improving his English skills. The class also focused on learning and using various phrases related to managing problems, emphasizing how students can apply these expressions in everyday English communication.
