Employment Advisory
In light of recent reports due to documentation-related issues, Filipino teachers are strongly encouraged to exercise caution when applying for teaching positions in Thailand.
Before accepting any job offer, ensure that the employer is able and willing to provide the appropriate Non-Immigrant Visa and Work Permit, as required under Thai law for foreign educators. Working without the proper legal documentation may expose teachers to serious legal and immigration consequences.
We encourage all Filipino educators to verify the legitimacy of prospective employers and to comply fully with Thai regulations to safeguard their professional standing and well-being while working in the Kingdom.
Something meaningful is on the horizon. 🇵🇭🇹🇭
FEAT is preparing to open new doors for Filipino educators in Thailand through an upcoming partnership with one of the Philippines’ leading institutions in open and distance learning.
This collaboration aims to create more opportunities for professional growth, continuing education, research, and academic engagement for our community of educators abroad.
As the maiden project between FEAT and its new partner is happening in June, stay tuned as we take another step toward empowering Filipino teachers beyond borders.

Before FEAT makes its next big drop here, here’s some good news first for learners everywhere, especially our modern-day heroes abroad!
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) have joined forces to open faster pathways to college degrees for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), recognizing the value of their years of hard-earned work experience.
Through this new agreement, more OFWs can benefit from the Lifelong Learning Education Assistance Program and earn degrees under CHED’s Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), turning real-world skills into academic credentials and creating more opportunities for career growth and a brighter future.
“The OWWA … would soon release application guidelines for the first batch of beneficiaries under its LEAP-OFWs initiative.”
If you know someone who can benefit from this, let that person know as this could be their chance to finally earn a college degree and turn years of hard work into a recognized academic achievement!
OWWA-CHED MOA allows OFWs to earn degrees faster via work experience MANILA – The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to help overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) earn college degrees faster by recognizing their years of work experience. In an interview during.....
Wait… what’s FEAT up to this time?
Something BIG is coming.
If you’re a Filipino teacher in Thailand, consider this your early heads-up… because this next drop? It’s giving growth, connection, and major teacher glow-up energy.
So, yes, stay tuned!
