CSCA (China Scholastic Competency Assessment) ကတော့ bachelor လျှောက်မဲ့ နိုင်ငံခြားသားကျောင်းသားတွေအတွက် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံကနေပြီးတော့ အသစ်သတ်မှတ်လိုက်တဲ့ စာမေးပွဲတစ်ခုပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

What is the CSCA Exam, the Mandatory Test for China Scholarship Applications Starting in 2026?

Today, I'm going to talk about the CSCA exam, which will be mandatory for anyone applying for a scholarship starting next year, in 2026.

The CSCA (China Scholastic Competency Assessment) is a new exam established by China for international students applying for Bachelor's degrees.

It has been reported that the government has instructed universities offering CSC scholarships to require the CSCA result for applicants starting from the 2026-2027 intake.

What subjects are tested in the CSCA?
You will need to take four subjects:
· Specialized Chinese
· Mathematics
· Physics
· Chemistry

Starting in 2026, the CSCA exam will be held five times a year in:

· January, March (focus on Europe and Americas)
· April, June, December (Asian and Pacific regions)

Exam Fees:
· One subject: 450 RMB
· Two or more subjects: 700 RMB

Payments can be made via Alipay, WeChat Pay, Visa, UnionPay, and MasterCard.

It has been announced that the very first CSCA exam will be held on December 21, 2025.

How to get a Scholarship in China?

Today, I’ll guide those who want to study in China on a scholarship. So, what kinds of scholarships are available?

1. CSC scholarship
2. CIS scholarship
3. One year language program
4. Half year language program
5. University scholarship
6. Belt and road scholarship
7. Provincial scholarship
and so forth! The seven listed above are the most commonly applied for scholarships.

China Scholarships have two intakes per year: "March intake and September intake".

- For the "March intake", applications usually open in (October).
- For the "September intake", applications approximately open in (February).
**Note: Application periods and deadlines may vary slightly depending on the university.**

Right now, it’s too late to apply for the "September intake" , but there’s still time to prepare for the "March intake".

To help you prepare for scholarship applications, I’ll also be organizing a small campaign where we’ll work together step by step.

You can apply through an agency or independently. If you know the process, applying on your own is the best option. But however, self-applications require effort—you’ll need to do your research and read a lot of materials.
