Did you know that there are 3 psychological needs behind building real confidence in kids and teens? 🤔

📖 Based on Self-Determination Theory (developed by psychologists Dr. Edward Deci and Dr. Richard Ryan), the 3 core psychological needs to thrive are:
✨ Autonomy
✨ Competence
✨ Relatedness.

❓ But how to we build these?

Join us for the full breakdown on how to build real confidence, self worth at our monthly meetups, where we bridge the gap between evidence-based developmental science and the raw, unedited reality of your daily home life. 🏡

You’ll walk away with practical tools, real perspective shifts, and a judgment-free space to take off the “perfect parent” mask and actually boost your child’s confidence in our “Raising Authentic Kids in a Superficial Role” meetup. 🛠️

Kinda chic to finally find your people💙

✨Kinda chic to admit you’re figuring it out too.
✨Kinda chic to ask for help instead of spiralling alone at 11pm.
✨Kinda chic to break the pattern instead of just surviving it.
✨Kinda chic to leave our community feeling lighter than when you walked in.

Whether you are far away from family, between cultures, or even local parents just trying to figure out the overwhelm- we get it!

Parenting was never meant to be done alone, and that’s why we built Parent Connect 📍 Bangkok.

Honest conversations. Real parents. Evidence-backed research with EQ tools. No perfect parent masks required.

This is not a parenting lecture, group coaching, or therapy — this is just parents being real, laughing, sharing honestly, and empowering with one another 💪

💌Save this. Send it to the parent in your life who needs to see it. And if you’ve been thinking about joining us — your spot is waiting🥹

In a world of comparison, filters, and pressure to fit in, how do we help our children stay true to who they are?

Our kids are being asked to curate an identity online before they’ve even discovered one themselves — filtered lives, constant comparison, and pressure to perform rather than simply be, and asking…
“Who am I?” 🤔

Join us in learning through honest parenting experiences as well as research-backed conversations on raising children with a strong sense of self. We encourage parents with kids in all ages… yes, even teens!

We’ll explore:
✨What truly builds self-worth, confidence, and resilience in your kids and teens
✨Learning and sharing through parent stories and practical tools
✨Actual scripts and family exercises for you to take home in our FREE resource guide
✨Self-esteem vs. self-worth
✨Why authenticity matters more than achievement

Hello Parents! We are back 💪 and ready for our usual monthly meet ups - looking forward to meet you all, it’s been very long!

📅 *SAVE THE DATE* for our next meet up on *August 25th, 10:30-12:30 pm* 🎉

This is a very important topic, lots of parents have been asking this question 🙋‍♀️ “in a world that is so fast-paced, superficial at times, how can we parents raise authentic , grounded children?” Because it seems nearly impossible ….

And we hear 👂 you… and that’s exactly why we need to talk about this… together 💕 open to children for all age groups !

Registration details will follow next week 😍

We often teach our daughters to keep the peace, but that conditioning secretly trains them to silence their own voices just to blend in. 🤫

True empowerment starts at home when we teach our girls that someone else’s judgment of them is never a fact, it’s just an opinion. 🤔

When they learn to separate the two, they stop looking for outside approval and start trusting their own inner compass. 🧭

Of course, this isn’t about raising kids who demand “my way or the highway.” It’s about teaching them how to stand up for themselves respectfully and hold boundaries with confidence. ⚖️

Letting them practice their “No” with us today is how we give them the courage to speak their truth tomorrow. 🤩

We often talk about how patriarchy affects women, but we rarely look at what it steals from men. 👀

When society pressures a father to only be the financial provider, he gets pushed to the outside of his own home. 🏡

He misses out on the daily, messy moments (like tantrums and bedtime) where deep attachment with his kids is actually built. 🤩

This isolation takes a heavy toll on fathers’ mental and physical health:
📈 A major study in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) found that 1 in 10 dads experience postpartum depression. Because men are taught to hide vulnerability, this depression often looks like irritability or working longer hours to cope.
📉 The American Psychological Association (APA) notes that men who value extreme self-reliance are much less likely to seek help for burnout, leading to severe stress and health issues.

True partnership at home isn’t just about making things fair for moms. It’s about giving dads the freedom to be full, connected parents rather than just spectators. 🥰

Ever find yourself stuck in a high-stakes negotiation trying to force just one more bite? 😫

The Division of Responsibility method changes everything: Your job as the parent is to decide what, when, and where food is served. Your child’s only job is to decide whether to eat it and how much. 🤩

When you drop the pressure and trust the division, the power struggles vanish. ☮️

Thank you to Registered Dietitian Keren Granit for breaking down exactly how to put this into practice. 🙏

“If you eat three more bites, you can have a cookie.” 🍪

We’ve all been there. But when we position the vegetable as “the chore” and the dessert as “the reward,” our children’s brains subconsciously learn to dislike the healthy food even more. 😮‍💨

A massive thank you to Amanda Doty for breaking down the exact perspective shift she used to take the pressure off the plate with her special “rainbow plate” trick 🌈 and invite genuine curiosity instead. 🙏

📌 Share this with a parent who needs a dinner table win tonight, and save it for your next mealtime!
