📢 Welcome to Our New Graduate Students! 🎉

The Master's and Ph.D. Program in Pharmacology and New Drug Development (International Program) warmly welcomed its new students during the Orientation Program for Academic Year 2026, held on August 4, 2026, at the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.

During the session, students received essential guidance from program directors, faculty, and staff—covering curriculum structure, study plans, program regulations, graduation requirements, and available research facilities and resources.

The event also featured self-introductions, an engaging experience-sharing session by senior students, and an open Q&A discussion—helping new students gain valuable insights and prepare for their graduate journey ahead.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere truly reflected our program's commitment to fostering academic excellence and nurturing internationally competent researchers and scholars.

📢 ปฐมนิเทศนักศึกษาใหม่ หลักสูตรปริญญาโท–เอก สาขาวิชาเภสัชวิทยาและการพัฒนายาใหม่ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) 🎉

ภาควิชาเภสัชวิทยา คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล จัดกิจกรรมปฐมนิเทศนักศึกษาใหม่ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2569 เมื่อวันที่ 4 สิงหาคม 2569 เวลา 13.00–15.00 น. ณ ห้องประชุม 1114

ภายในกิจกรรม นักศึกษาได้ฟังการแนะนำหลักสูตรจากคณาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่ฯ เกี่ยวกับการจัดการเรียนการสอน แผนการศึกษา ระเบียบข้อบังคับ ข้อกำหนดการสำเร็จการศึกษา รวมถึงสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกและทรัพยากรสนับสนุนการเรียนและวิจัย

นอกจากนี้ ยังมีช่วงแนะนำตัว แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์จากรุ่นพี่สู่รุ่นน้อง และตอบข้อซักถาม เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนเริ่มต้นการศึกษาในระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา

บรรยากาศเต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่นและเป็นกันเอง สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของหลักสูตรในการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และสนับสนุนนักศึกษาทุกคนให้ก้าวสู่การเป็นนักวิจัยและนักวิชาการที่มีศักยภาพในระดับนานาชาติ

✨ Thank You for Joining Our Special Lecture! ✨

The Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, extends our sincerest gratitude to Prof. Yu-Ju Chen (Distinguished Research Fellow, Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica) for delivering an inspiring special lecture on:
"Clinical Mass Spectrometry for Precision Oncology: From Proteome Discovery to Actionable Biomarkers"

The session provided profound insights into how mass spectrometry-based proteomics and multi-omics integration are transforming precision oncology. Attendees explored the journey from biomarker discovery to translating research into clinically actionable strategies for personalized cancer diagnosis and treatment.

We are also excited about the future of precision medicine highlighted during the talk—particularly the integration of proteomics, genomics, and microbiome research to improve patient stratification and therapeutic decision-making.

การบรรยายครั้งนี้ได้ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้าน mass spectrometry-based proteomics และการประยุกต์ใช้ multi-omics เพื่อสนับสนุนการแพทย์แม่นยำ (precision oncology และการทำความเข้าใจกลไกของโรคมะเร็ง ไปจนถึงการนำผลการวิจัยไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการวินิจฉัยและการรักษาผู้ป่วยอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

นอกจากนี้ ยังเปิดมุมมองใหม่เกี่ยวกับการบูรณาการข้อมูลด้านโปรตีโอมิกส์ จีโนมิกส์ และไมโครไบโอม เพื่อยกระดับการดูแลผู้ป่วยและพัฒนาการรักษาโรคมะเร็งเฉพาะบุคคลในอนาคต

ในโอกาสได้รับ Excellent Thesis Award ระดับปริญญาเอก กลุ่มสาขา Biological Sciences จากการประกาศผลรางวัลวิทยานิพนธ์ดีเด่น ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2569 ของบัณฑิตวิทยาลัย มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

✨ Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital Showcases Thai–UK Collaboration at the Thai–UK TNE Partnerships 2026 Seminar

On 20 July 2026, our department participated in the seminar "Igniting Thailand’s Future: Transforming Higher Education and Future Talent through Thai–UK TNE Partnerships," jointly organized by the British Council and the Office of the Permanent Secretary, MHESI. 🇹🇭🤝🇬🇧

During the event, we proudly presented our collaborative project:
"Development of a Thai–UK Transnational Education Partnership using AI in Precision Drug Discovery and Personalized Medicine."

This strategic partnership between Mahidol University and The University of Edinburgh aims to develop innovative educational programs and strengthen academic collaboration by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education and research.

This participation reflects our strong commitment to expanding international academic partnerships and cultivating the next generation of healthcare professionals ready to meet the challenges of precision medicine.

เมื่อวันที่ 20 กรกฎาคม 2569 ภาควิชาเภสัชวิทยาของเราได้เข้าร่วมงานสัมมนา "Igniting Thailand’s Future: Transforming Higher Education and Future Talent through Thai–UK TNE Partnerships" ซึ่งจัดร่วมโดย British Council และสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (MHESI) 🇹🇭🤝🇬🇧

ภายในงาน เราได้นำเสนอโครงการความร่วมมือ:
"Development of a Thai–UK Transnational Education Partnership using AI in Precision Drug Discovery and Personalized Medicine"

ความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ระหว่าง มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และ The University of Edinburgh นี้มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาหลักสูตรนวัตกรรมและเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ โดยประยุกต์ใช้ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ในการเรียนการสอนและการวิจัยด้านการค้นพบยาแบบแม่นยำและการแพทย์เฉพาะบุคคล

🎉 A Successful Milestone in Advancing Organoid Research and Functional Precision Oncology

The Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University is honored to have hosted the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony between the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and InvitroCue Pte. Ltd. (Singapore).

The event marked an important milestone in our shared commitment to advancing organoid research, functional precision oncology, and translational cancer research in Thailand.

We were deeply honored by the presence of Professor Apichat Asavamongkolkul, M.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, and Dr. Steven Fang, Chief Executive Officer of InvitroCue, who officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the two organizations.

The afternoon also featured an engaging scientific programme, including keynote presentations on the future of patient-derived organoids, the development of the Siriraj Organoid Platform, and emerging opportunities in functional precision oncology. The event concluded with an insightful panel discussion on how academia and industry can work together to accelerate innovation and translate research into better outcomes for patients.

As the host department, we are grateful to all distinguished guests, faculty members, clinicians, researchers, students, industry partners, and collaborators who joined us in celebrating this important occasion. Your participation reflects a shared vision of building a stronger ecosystem for precision medicine in Thailand.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the Faculty leadership, InvitroCue, and everyone involved in organizing this event. We look forward to a long and productive partnership that will foster innovation, train the next generation of researchers and clinician-scientists, and ultimately improve the lives of cancer patients through research and collaboration.
