Thailand trip started here - after 26 hrs of flying, went straight here to learn from pro . Met incredible people and was fortunate to collaborate in many ways with their golfing goals 🙏

Golfers are all chasing that feeling, the pure shot where everything was executed perfectly. And it’s easy to think that more good shots = better results

But what leads to better results is more about making fewer big mistakes on the course, and less about accumulating perfect shots

Improving your fitness has more to do with showing up when life can get in the way. Getting something in (rather than nothing). We get better at working through lack of motivation, stagnation, a little bit of fatigue, etc.. as you keep your commitment to your self. Your “Fitness C Game” improves, and so does your health.

Speed Progress📈, up quite a bit in a few weeks and surprisingly cracked 190mph ball speed early. This is Thursday last week. Thursdays are the best day in the schedule at the moment for me to fire speed, will I beat it today?

Shared this on my story a couple years back. Still true. Falling off track isn’t something that ‘might happen’ it is something that almost ALWAYS happens at some point in your fitness journey. You can’t beat yourself up mentally. What you do need is to get back on track as soon as possible - Avoid the blow up. It’s the time spent in the woods and downward spiral that gets you trouble. Avoid waiting until next week or ‘Monday’ to get back at it. Get back at it right now. Be solutions oriented and find ways to get back on track, not excuses.

JD with a significant early win in training 💪

A few weeks ago JD couldn’t get up from the floor without using his hands for support.

JD is in his 70s

This is a huge win.

Being able to get up from the floor without the use of hands for support is a big predictor of quality of life, and life expectancy.

This is very important later in life.

When we first communicated about working together just a few weeks ago the intention was to help him get ready for golf season. It wasn’t until we went through some functional screening did we see this gap.

It’s not always about driving performance in sport, we need to focus on the individual.

PS. JD is moving better, feeing stronger, and hitting it longer 💪

Swing: happy where things are at from where I was a couple months ago, took away the video feedback for a while and just focused on feels and producing consistent flights.

Reimplementing video feedback, noticed I was big time over the top so need more of the same: a bit more width, depth, & space - But overall club feels good in the hands and not over-complicating the process.

Just aiming for the incremental 1% improvement day-to-day / week-to-week
