Week 1 of Passion Talk at D-PREP: Complete! ✨
Our Grade 8 students have taken the stage every day to share their personal stories. Fueled by curiosity and inspiration, they looked back at where they started and forward to where they are going. It’s been amazing to watch them uncover who they are and open up about the passions and purpose that drive them!
We are so proud of our students for researching extensively to craft their speeches and delivering them with such confidence in front of a live audience. The growth and substance in this journey are exactly what make Passion Talk worth it!

She received multiple international university offers, including from San Diego State University, Weber State University, and the University of Louisiana Monroe, and after weighing everything carefully, she chose UNC Asheville because it aligned most closely with her personal goals. She earned a full athletic golf scholarship, and she will be flying to the US later this year to begin this next chapter.
Plum has been with us since Grade 10, and now she is graduating with us as part of our very first graduating class of D-PREP. Over these years, she has grown into a focused and driven athlete who gives everything she does her whole heart. Congratulations, Plum! We will always be proud of you. 🩵

From the Classroom to the Newsroom! 🎥
Our Grade 8 and 9 Social Studies students spent a day at Thai PBS for their fieldwork, and they walked away with a completely different understanding of how the news actually gets made. They got to see every single role that keeps a broadcast running, from the hair and makeup teams and scriptwriters to the camera operators and lighting crews, all working together in real time.
The highlight of the day was meeting news reporter Nad Bunnag, who gave students a candid look at what journalism really demands. She talked about the pressure of field assignments, how difficult it is to verify facts when social media and AI move faster than the truth, and why staying unbiased and accurate matters, even when the job gets dangerous.
Our students came with great questions and left with a much clearer picture of what it means to report the news. And who knows? We might just have some future changemakers and storytellers in the making! 🎤✨

There's one classroom at D-PREP that doesn't get talked about enough, and it's the one overflowing with color and some of the most personal work our students will ever create: the Art Classroom.
AP Art is a full-year journey. Students don't just make art; they document every step, from the earliest experiments and rough sketches to the final piece, constantly testing different materials, colors, and angles until the work is complete.
Every piece carries a story. One student might explore growing up between two cultures and how that shapes identity. Another might unpack how everyday objects hold layers of emotion. Some express sides of themselves that words simply cannot capture, and the canvas becomes the only place all those sides can exist at once.
This June 8-10, our students will be showcasing everything they've built at Mega Bangna, and we'd love for our D-PREP community to come celebrate the journey.
But, for now, let’s swipe through to see a few works from our current (and soon-to-be) AP Art students!

Congratulations to Grade 8 student Jayda for receiving the Rookie Inspiration Award in the Innovation category at the First Lego League Thailand 2025–2026! 🤖🏆
First Lego League is an international robotics competition that encourages students to solve real-world problems through coding, research, and creative thinking. This year’s theme, UNEARTHED, challenged students to explore ways to protect artifacts and historical discoveries.
Together with her team, Jayda developed “Chronos Shield,” an innovative solution designed to support the safe transportation of artifacts. She programmed the machine to safely store both wet and dry artifacts while maintaining stable conditions during transport.
Well done to Jayda and her teammates! Keep exploring, building, and creating for the future! 💙✨
