HZAU Student Camp at KU 2026: Academic Visit and Hands-on Learning at the Faculty of Agriculture

On 7 August 2026, the Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University, welcomed students from Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), People's Republic of China, as part of the HZAU Student Camp at KU 2026 programme, together with the International Relations and Global Affairs Division, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University.

The programme was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saowanuch Thawornpruek, Associate Dean for Research and Internationalization, Faculty of Agriculture. The visit was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jutiphorn Tatsakunpanich, faculty member of the Department of Horticulture and the Research and Internationalization Unit, together with faculty members and staff of the Faculty of Agriculture, who warmly welcomed the participants and guided them through the faculty's learning and research facilities.

During the visit, the HZAU students were introduced to the Faculty of Agriculture's academic programmes and research activities before touring the vegetable cultivation plots and horticultural learning areas. They gained practical knowledge of horticultural crops, vegetable cultivation techniques, plant care and maintenance, crop management, and sustainable agricultural practices through hands-on learning in the field.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their understanding of horticultural production and modern agricultural practices while exchanging academic knowledge and experiences with faculty members and staff. It also further strengthened the long-standing partnership between Kasetsart University and Huazhong Agricultural University.

วันที่ 7 สิงหาคม 2569 คณะเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ให้การต้อนรับนักศึกษาจาก Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ภายใต้โครงการ HZAU Student Camp at KU 2026 พร้อมด้วย งานความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศและกิจการระดับโลก คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เสาวนุช ถาวรพฤกษ์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและความเป็นสากล คณะเกษตร เป็นประธานกล่าวต้อนรับและเปิดกิจกรรม พร้อมด้วย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.จุติภรณ์ ทัสสกุลพนิช อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาพืชสวน ฝ่ายวิจัยและความเป็นสากล คณาจารย์ และบุคลากรคณะเกษตร ร่วมให้การต้อนรับและนำชมแหล่งเรียนรู้ภายในคณะ

ภายในการเยี่ยมชม นักศึกษา HZAU ได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานด้านการเรียนการสอนและงานวิจัยของคณะเกษตร ก่อนลงพื้นที่เยี่ยมชมแปลงปลูกพืชผักและแหล่งเรียนรู้ด้านพืชสวน โดยได้ศึกษาชนิดของพืชสวน วิธีการเพาะปลูก การดูแลรักษาพืช การจัดการแปลงปลูก ตลอดจนแนวทางการผลิตพืชอย่างยั่งยืน ผ่านการเรียนรู้จากพื้นที่จริงและการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้จากคณาจารย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้การประยุกต์ใช้องค์ความรู้ด้านพืชสวนและการเกษตรในภาคปฏิบัติ พร้อมทั้งแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ด้านวิชาการกับคณาจารย์และบุคลากรของคณะเกษตร อันเป็นการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์และ Huazhong Agricultural University อย่างต่อเนื่อง

HZAU Students Explore Bangkok's Cultural Heritage

On 5 August 2026, the International Relations and Global Affairs Division (IRGA), Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University, took faculty members and students from Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), China, on a cultural trip around Bangkok as part of the HZAU Student Camp at KU 2026.

The day started with a visit to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), one of Thailand's most famous landmarks. The students enjoyed exploring the beautiful temple, learning about Thai culture, and taking lots of photos to remember the experience.

After visiting Wat Arun, the group crossed the Chao Phraya River by ferry to Tha Tian Pier for lunch, where they enjoyed local food and the riverside atmosphere. In the afternoon, the students continued their own sightseeing at ICONSIAM, one of Bangkok's most popular riverside destinations.

The trip gave the HZAU students a chance to experience Thai culture, explore Bangkok, and create wonderful memories during their stay at Kasetsart University.

🌱 HZAU Students Visit Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Fisheries and SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World

On 4 August 2026, the International Relations and Global Affairs Division, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Fisheries, welcomed faculty members and students from Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), People’s Republic of China, under the HZAU Student Camp at KU 2026 programme.

During the morning session, the HZAU delegation visited the Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University, where they were welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Wanwimol Klaypradit, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukkrit Nimitkul, and faculty members. The visitors gained academic insights into fishery products and aquaculture, while also learning about the Faculty’s academic programmes, teaching activities, and research.

In the afternoon, the Faculty of Fisheries arranged an educational visit to SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World at Siam Paragon. The delegation explored aquatic biodiversity and freshwater and marine ecosystems, enriching their learning experience through activities beyond the classroom.

The visit formed part of the HZAU Student Camp at KU 2026 programme, jointly organised by the Faculty of Science and the International Affairs Division of Kasetsart University to promote academic collaboration, student exchange, and strengthen institutional partnerships between Kasetsart University and Huazhong Agricultural University.

เมื่อวันที่ 4 สิงหาคม 2569 คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ โดยงานความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศและกิจการระดับโลก ร่วมกับคณะประมง ให้การต้อนรับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาจาก Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ภายใต้โครงการ HZAU Student Camp at KU 2026

ในช่วงเช้า คณาจารย์และนักศึกษาจาก HZAU ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมคณะประมง มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ โดยได้รับการต้อนรับจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วรรณวิมล คล้ายประดิษฐ์ และผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุขกฤช นิมิตรกุล พร้อมคณะ ซึ่งได้ถ่ายทอดความรู้และประสบการณ์ทางวิชาการด้านผลิตภัณฑ์ประมงและการเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำ ตลอดจนแนะนำการเรียนการสอนและงานวิจัยของคณะ

ในช่วงบ่าย คณะประมงได้ให้การสนับสนุนและนำคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาเยี่ยมชม SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World ณ ศูนย์การค้าสยามพารากอน เพื่อเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับความหลากหลายของสิ่งมีชีวิตในระบบนิเวศทางน้ำ ตลอดจนเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียน

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ HZAU Student Camp at KU 2026 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ร่วมกับกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ การแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา และการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์และ Huazhong Agricultural University ในระดับนานาชาติ
