I am currently looking for new students to learn English online. I am available most mornings or weekends. I am booked most evenings except Thursday evening. Please message me if you or someone you know is looking to learn English or improve their English skills. The cost is 400 baht per hour, for individual lessons, or 3500 for 10 hours of lessons. If you want to learn in a group and have others who want to learn, then the rate will be less.

I will run a Thursday evening class if there are enough students who want to join. I would need 6 minimum to start the class. It would run from 8-9 pm on Thursday evenings and focus on beginner English for conversation. Message us if you want to join. The class will begin as soon as there are enough students.
The class would run for 10 weeks and cost 2000 baht for all 10 weeks. Students can pay in installments if necessary. Students can also join each week for 200 baht, if not interested in all 10 weeks.

I have a teaching job at a tutoring school here in Pattaya, so my time is limited for 1-1 teaching. I would like to help as many students as possible learn English, so I would like to create a group to learn together. If you are interested in a group lesson, I can offer one on Sundays at 12:00 or 8:00, whichever works better. Please message if you are interested. Cost would be 200 baht per lesson, or 700 for 4. Lessons are designed to help learn conversational English as fast as possible.

1-month Conversational English Course for Thai Students

Introduction: Conversational English can be challenging for those who rarely use the language, or are too shy to attempt to speak to English-speaking foreigners when they encounter them. This course will get you comfortable with basic English skills and can help you with your English subjects in school. I will not get into the reading and writing of English, except for some examples of signs and menus for situations presented in the course.

The course will consist of verbal presentations by me, and then practice with the group or break out into smaller groups to practice. We will conclude with what we learned each lesson, and review what we learned the previous lesson once we start the course. I will have a Thai-speaking assistant available during our sessions, if necessary.

This course assumes you have basic English communication skills and can understand basic English presentations. I will present content as simple and slowly as possible, but you will need to have some basic understanding of spoken English. Be prepared to speak a little in the larger group as well as break-out groups. We are all friends here, so don’t be shy!

Method of delivery will be Google Meet. Be prepared to have the App downloaded on your phone or Chrome browser ready to use on your tablet or laptop.

Cost: 1,200 baht for the 1-month course. (That is 100 baht per lesson.)
There will be 6 students minimum before a class can start.
Time of class will be 7:00 p.m. Class will be 1 hour in length
Day of class will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday

Week 1:
Lesson 1: Meet and Greet
How do you meet and greet a stranger or friend in English? Are there formal and informal ways of talking to people when you meet them?
Lesson 2: Hair and Beauty Time
Do you like the way your friends hair and nails look? Do you like that hair cut your buddy got? Want to know where they had it done? This lesson will help you plan for Hair and Beauty appointments.
Lesson 3: Man it is Hot!
This lesson will help you talk about the weather. People all over the world use the weather as a point of conversation because it is always a topic of interest to people.

Week 2:
Lesson 4: Talk on the Phone
How do you start and end conversations on the phone in English? It can be different from Thai. How to avoid being rude on the phone.
Lesson 5: I feel Sick!
How do you talk about feeling sick in English? Have to go to the hospital? Pharmacy?
Lesson 6: Occupations
What are the most common occupations discussed in English? Many are gender-specific in Western Countries, just like Asian countries.

Week 3:
Lesson 7: What did you do on your holidays?
Students usually share their holidays when they first get back from a school break. How do you talk with friends and teachers about your holidays? Do you share the same things?
Lesson 8: Go that Way!
How do you give directions in English? This can be very frustrating in any language.
Lesson 9: Order me some Food!
Ordering food is a daily activity. Doing it in English can be frustrating if you order the wrong thing.

Week 4:
Lesson 10: Going to University
Conversations that help to understand the different meanings of university
Lesson 11: My First Day at Work
Conversations about how your first day of work went. Did you have a good time? Were you nervous?
Lesson 12: My Pet
How do you talk about your pets at home? Do you share the funny or annoying things they do with your friends?
