We’ve seen one of the three libraries, and now Mr Ash and Ms Kim take us inside the DUCKS Library and a Year 1 classroom, giving us a closer look at how these spaces have been designed specifically for younger learners.

The DUCKS Library features flexible learning spaces, plenty of natural light and a strong connection to the surrounding nature, while the Year 1 classrooms include ergonomically designed furniture, writable desks, interactive technology and dedicated areas for collaborative learning and play.

Students can also move between indoor and outdoor learning spaces, giving teachers even more flexibility in how lessons and activities are delivered.

Stay tuned as we continue exploring the brand-new Dulwich College Bangkok campus!

As the school prepares to welcome its first Year 10 students, Mr Ash asks Ms Victoria an important question: what will these students look like when they eventually leave Wycombe Abbey?

Beyond achieving strong IGCSE and A-Level results, the vision is for students to leave confident, independent and ready for the next stage of their lives, whether that means university, an apprenticeship or another pathway.

Most importantly, they will leave with lifelong friendships, valuable connections and the skills to take on whatever comes next.
A great way to conclude Mr Ash’s conversation with Ms Victoria and an exciting look at the future of Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok.

Now it’s time for the tour of Dulwich College International School Bangkok, and this is a library with a view! Mr Ash and Ms Kim will be taking us around Dulwich College to show off some of their amazing new facilities. First up, they take a look inside the brand-new Junior School Library, just days before students arrive.

As Dulwich College prepares to open next week, the space is already looking impressive, with dedicated reading areas, cosy spaces for students to enjoy a book, and plenty of natural light overlooking the surrounding green space.

The school will have three dedicated libraries for Early Years, Junior School and Senior School, with scheduled library sessions designed to encourage students to develop a love of reading.

Stay tuned as we continue exploring the brand-new Dulwich College Bangkok campus.

In Part 6 of our Back to School Series, Mr Ash moves on to children who have finished Year 1 and are getting ready for Year 2.
This lesson looks at column addition with exchanging, a method children use to add two-digit numbers.

Mr Ash explains the simple idea that 10 ones are the same as 1 ten, how to use this when adding numbers, and some common mistakes children may make when learning this method.

Parents can also practise at home using everyday items such as Thai baht coins. For example, exchanging ten 1-baht coins for one 10-baht coin is a simple way to help children understand tens and ones.

As Mr Ash continues his discussion with Ms Victoria and tour of their impressive facilities, they explore an important part of the school’s approach: creating an environment where students feel safe, supported and happy.

Pastoral care sits at the heart of Wycombe Abbey, with small form groups, dedicated tutors, counselling, safeguarding support, school nurses and a wider team all working together to support every student.

Ms Victoria also shares the school’s holistic approach to education, global Wycombe Abbey network and flexible boarding options, giving students the support and opportunities they need both inside and outside the classroom.

A great insight into how Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok is looking beyond academics and focusing on the whole student.

Counting in 2s, 5s and 10s is an important step towards understanding multiplication and times tables.
In Episode 5 of our Back to School Series, Mr Ash demonstrates how children can learn to count in equal groups, recognise number patterns and develop their confidence with numbers.

Using everyday objects at home to make learning maths fun, Mr Ash shares some simple examples that parents can use with their children, from counting pairs of shoes and using fingers to count in fives, to grouping objects into 2s, 5s and 10s.

Very exciting times ahead for the Pattaya community as another huge name from the world of education in the UK officially welcomes students next week!

If you thought the sports facilities couldn't get any more impressive... think again. Mr Ash and Ms Victoria is now at Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok's incredible Olympic-standard 50-metre indoor swimming pool. It's one of those facilities you simply have to see to believe.

Designed to support every student, from those learning to swim to elite athletes, this world-class facility will host swimming galas, house competitions, workshops and international sporting events throughout the year. The school is even welcoming British Olympic champion Adam Ramsay-Peaty for a special swimming workshop, giving students the opportunity to learn from one of the very best.

More than just a swimming pool, it's another example of how Wycombe Abbey is creating an exceptional learning environment for their students to thrive.
