📍Day 4 at gPBL@SUT Hybrid (Trimester 1/2026)
Topic: Innovating for a Sustainable Society 🌟

Today, we focused on mastering the art of communication! The day featured a special lecture on 'Pitching & Presentation' by Lecturer Bundam Ro from the School of Civil Engineering. This session was designed to help participants level up their presentation skills and gain the confidence to pitch their sustainable innovations to the world.

After that, in the afternoon, participants kept working hard on their projects for the final presentation. Today, every group made great progress! They did an amazing job balancing innovation with their budget. Most teams are building smart applications and websites, while some are even creating cool simulations of their physical prototypes to show how the real product works!

Topic: Innovating for a Sustainable Society 🌟

Today marked the intermediate presentations! Every group presented their wonderful project ideas to the committee, and every group delivered a great presentation. We look forward to seeing how these projects grow and upgrade for the final session.📈✨

In the afternoon, focus on the special lecture on "Prototyping" by Dr. Srikulnath Nilnoree from Civil Engineering, SUT. The session covered how to define problems, plan out a prototype, and included helpful examples. At the end of the day, participants continued working on their group projects, with a boost of inspiration.

"A prototype is not built to prove you are right. It is built to discover what is wrong before it becomes expensive."

Day 2 at gPBL@SUT Hybrid (Trimester 1/2026)
Topic: Innovating for Sustainable society ✨️

The morning started with a special lecture on "Project Management" by the most handsome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Menglim Hoy from Civil Engineering!!!👷🏻‍♂️
He gave participants fantastic ideas on how to plan and organize to achieve their goals. Afterward, participants jumped into a mini-workshop to plan their group work using key tools like the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Decision Matrix, and Project monitoring, before presenting their plans to the class. 📊💡

In the afternoon, participants continued brainstorming innovative and sustainable ideas to solve real-world problems. By the end of the day, many groups had already started making their main concepts, sharing their problem statements, proposed solutions, and related SDGs 🌍 backed up by supporting information.

🌏✨ A sweet journey of cultural exchange and unforgettable memories! ✨🍡

Our participants kicked off the day with a delightful lunch at The Seaya Bar & Bistro, enjoying great food and even better company. The adventure continued at We Bake Love, where everyone had the opportunity to experience authentic Thai culture through a hands-on workshop making “Bua Loy”, a traditional Thai dessert.

From kneading colorful dough to shaping each tiny piece with care, participants embraced a completely new experience and discovered the joy behind this beloved Thai sweet. Laughter, creativity, and teamwork filled the room as everyone proudly crafted their own bowls of Bua Loy and shared the delicious results together.

Moments like these remind us that cultural exchange is not only about learning new traditions, but also about creating friendships, sharing smiles, and making memories that transcend borders. 💕🇹🇭

Day 1 at gPBL@SUT Hybrid (Trimester 1/2026)
Topic: Innovating for Sustainable Society 🌟

The morning started with a warm welcome from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornsiri Jongkol. Right after, we jumped into an inspiring lecture on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by Prof. Melba M. Angni from Mindanao State University, Philippines.

Then came the funniest part 🧊 ICE BREAKING!!
Asst. Prof. Dr. Chitapong Wechtaisong from Telecommunications Engineering led a super fun activity that got everyone moving and shaking off the first day nerves to get to know each other.

The excitement continued into the afternoon Dr. Natdanai Chanlawong from Industrial Engineering gave a great talk on "Exploring Problems Using Engineering Tools" After that, students teamed up for their very first group work session to identify real-world problems, closely guided by Asst. Prof. Dr. Aroonsri Nuchitprasittichai, Head of the Office of Global Engagement.

This is just the beginning, the real challenge is waiting for you🔥

The deadline extension applies to the following forms:

✅ Staff Recruitment Registration Form

Interested participants may still register using the registration forms previously posted. This is a great opportunity for those who have not yet completed their registration to join the program and become part of this exciting international learning experience.

The momentum continues! 🚀

Here is the recap of Day 5 to Day 8, where our journey shifted from the classroom to the coast. Watch as our participants dive into the "Waste-to-Value" philosophy at Ban Amphoe “Love the Sea”, tackle intensive Prototyping sessions, and face the ultimate challenge of their Final Presentations.

From mastering engineering tools to celebrating at the Closing Ceremony, these final days were all about grit, collaboration, and refining the next generation of sustainable solutions. The path to industrial and community impact was truly an unforgettable experience! 🌏💡
