Strengthening Research Networks: Collaborative Exchange with Chiang Mai University! 🤝
On January 11, 2026, our faculty and PhD students, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongdech Sarakarn, Head of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, had the privilege of participating in a major research networking activity at the Faculty of Public Health, Chiang Mai University.
Our team was invited to exchange insights on "Predictive Modeling by Machine Learning," focusing on sharing expertise and experiences in advanced research methodologies and teaching approaches.

This weekend (August 16-17, 2025), our faculty and graduate students are actively participating in a key networking event.
Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongdech Sarakarn, Head of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, our team was invited to join the "Public Health Research Group Networking Activity," hosted by the College of Medicine and Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani University.

Today (August 10, 2025), the PhD Program in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (International Program), Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Public Health, Chiang Mai University, and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam, successfully hosted The 1st International Mini Conference on the topic of "Tree-Based Machine Learning in R: A Practical Approach for Epidemiologists and Biostatisticians."
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all participants, both those who joined us onsite at Takkasila Meeting Room and those who connected online via Zoom. Your interest and enthusiastic participation created a wonderful atmosphere of learning and impressive exchange.

Strengthening International Ties: Our Recent Collaboration in Vietnam! 🇹🇭🤝🇻🇳
We are excited to share highlights from our recent trip to Vietnam (June 19-23, 2025), where we focused on extending our academic collaboration and sharing expertise in public health.
Key activities from our visit included:
✨ Delivering a Seminar: Our faculty presented on the topic of "Predictive Modeling by Machine Learning," sharing valuable insights with students and staff.
✨ Attending a Celebration: We had the honor of attending and congratulating the Faculty of Public Health at Hue University on their momentous 20th Anniversary.

🇬🇧 English Proficiency: Must have a test score that meets the criteria of the Graduate School, Khon Kaen University.
