On January 11, 2026, our faculty and PhD students, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongdech Sarakarn, Head of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, had the privilege of participating in a major research networking activity at the Faculty of Public Health, Chiang Mai University.

Today (August 10, 2025), the PhD Program in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (International Program), Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Public Health, Chiang Mai University, and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam, successfully hosted The 1st International Mini Conference on the topic of "Tree-Based Machine Learning in R: A Practical Approach for Epidemiologists and Biostatisticians."

Check if you meet the minimum qualifications:

📋 Requirements for BOTH Program Types:

🎓 Degree: Hold a Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or other related health science fields.

📈 GPA: A cumulative GPA at the master's degree level of no less than 3.50.

🇬🇧 English Proficiency: Must have a test score that meets the criteria of the Graduate School, Khon Kaen University.

‼️ Additional Requirement for Type 1.1 Applicants ONLY:

🔬 You must have prior health science research experience OR publications in peer-reviewed journals.
