วันที่ 20 เดือน สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2569 คณาจารย์สาขาวิชาการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหามกุฏราชวิทยาลัย ได้มีการจัดโครงการ English Café 2026 ให้กับนักศึกษาได้ฝึกฝนเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษนอกห้องเรียนอย่างสร้างสรรค์ ในการนี้ได้รับความเมตตาจากพระครูศรีวีรคุณสุนทร, ผศ. ดร. คณบดีคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มาเป็นประธานเปิดโครงการ และได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภิวิชญ์ เลี้ยงอิสสระ คณบดีคณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้มาเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายเรื่อง “English for Success: How English Opens Doors to Your Future” ให้แก่นักศึกษาคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ได้ตระหนักถึงความสำคัญและการพากเพียรเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษซึ่งนำไปสู่ความสำเร็จในชีวิต
>> นอกจากนี้ในช่วงบ่าย ได้มีการแข่งขันทักษะภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาทั้งในคณะศึกษาศาสตร์และคณะมนุษยศาสตร์ กิจกรรมการแข่งขันนั้นมีด้วยกัน 3 ประเภท คือ กิจกรรมแข่งขันร้องเพลงสากล (Singing Contest) กิจกรรมแข่งขันแสดงละครเวที (Drama Contest) กิจกรรมแข่งขันการสะกดคำ (Spelling Bee Contest) เป็นการเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้กล้าแสดงออกในด้านบวกและเหมาะสม ช่วยให้นักศึกษาเกิดความภาคภูมิใจความสามารถภาษาอังกฤษของตนเองและเกิดกำลังใจที่จะขับเคลื่อนการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษของตนเองในอนาคต
On 20 August 2026, lecturers from the English Teaching Programme, Faculty of Education, Mahamakut Buddhist University, organised English Café 2026 to provide students with opportunities to practise and learn English creatively outside the classroom.
The event was graciously presided over by Phrakhrusriweerakhunsunthorn, Asst. Prof. Dr., Dean of the Faculty of Education. The faculty was also honoured to welcome Asst. Prof. Dr. Aphiwit Liang-itsara, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Mahidol University, as a guest speaker. He delivered a special lecture entitled “English for Success: How English Opens Doors to Your Future,” inspiring students from the Faculty of Education to recognise the importance of English and persevere in learning the language as a pathway to success in life.
In the afternoon, English skills competitions were held for students from the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Humanities. The competitions consisted of three categories: the Singing Contest, Drama Contest, and Spelling Bee Contest. These activities provided students with opportunities to express themselves confidently, positively, and appropriately. They also helped students take pride in their English abilities and encouraged them to continue developing their English skills in the future.
