KS1 students wrapped up their Strike and Fielding PE unit today, and what a fantastic few weeks it has been!

The children have shown incredible enthusiasm, teamwork and determination while developing their throwing, catching, batting and fielding skills. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow each lesson as they learned how to work together, follow game rules and apply new strategies during activities and mini-games.

Throughout the unit, students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, resilience and positive attitudes towards learning. They supported one another, celebrated successes and challenged themselves to improve every session.

We are so proud of all the progress they have made and the effort they have put into PE. Well done, KS1!

Our Flamingos and Chicks sessions for 1 and 2 year olds and their parents/toddlers are a big success.

Saturdays - next session 30th May.

8:30am – 10:00am
$10 per session (cash on the day)

Led by Miss Ali, one of our wonderful Preschool Teaching Assistants, these sessions are a lovely opportunity for children to develop early social skills, build confidence, and become familiar with a school environment. They also give parents and caregivers the chance to learn more about Provo Primary, get a feel for the school environment, and meet other families as well as members of our early years team.

We were delighted to welcome two talented actors from the USA, thanks to the generous support of the TCI Arts Foundation.

The interactive performance, led by Bright Star Touring Theatre, centred around African folktales and brought storytelling to life for our children. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially the chance to participate on stage and become part of the stories themselves.

A huge thank you to the TCI Arts Foundation for making this wonderful opportunity possible.

Our Middle School students have started their Fitness Unit in PE, where they are taking part in a variety of fitness tests including the bleep test, 12-minute run, push-ups, sit-ups, agility and other fitness challenges. Throughout the unit, students will record and analyse their results to develop a better understanding of their own fitness levels and the different components of fitness.

At the end of the unit, students will complete a reflection on their overall fitness and create a personal training plan focused on improving two specific components of fitness. This unit is helping students develop not only physical fitness, but also goal-setting, self-evaluation, and healthy lifestyle habits.

We loved seeing the joy during our Early Years’ tea parties and hope those happy memories continue to bring smiles long after the last cup of tea was poured.

Thank you for the endless care, encouragement and love you pour into your children - and into so many others each and every day. The kindness, patience and support you give helps children grow with confidence, happiness and heart.

A huge thank you as well to our tremendous teachers for creating these thoughtful opportunities for your children to celebrate this special day with you. The care, creativity and effort that go into making these memories so meaningful is truly appreciated.

What a Saturday for our sporting stars!

From school touch rugby finals to personal Brazilian jiu jitsu achievements, today was filled with teamwork, determination, resilience and children pushing themselves to be their personal best.

A huge congratulations to our rugby teams for their fantastic performances - our girls proudly secured 2nd place in the final, while our boys fought hard to earn 4th place overall. We are so proud of the sportsmanship, effort and teamwork shown throughout the competition.

And we absolutely love seeing our students achieving outside of school too - those jiu jitsu medals are amazing!

A huge thank you to TCI Rugby Football Union and TCI Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for providing these fantastic opportunities for our children to grow in confidence, skill, teamwork and perseverance through sport.
