بعض التعابير المستخدمة مع التركيب out of لا قاعدة عامة لها تحفظ كما هي :

1-Out of the blue

معناه بشكل غير متوقع
Out of the blue he told me he was moving to another country. I can't believe it.
بشكل غير متوقع اخبربني انها انتقلت الى بلد آخر.

2-Out of order متعطل

Let's take the stairs because the elevator is out of order.
دعنا نستخدم الدرج لان المصعد متعطل.

3-Out of this world جميل جدا، مذهل رائع

My friend's cooking is out of this world.
طبخ صديقتي مذهل جدا .

4-Out of touch معناه لا يوجد تواصل ابدا بين شخصين

I don't know where he lives we've been out of touch for a while
لا اعرف اين يعيش لايوجد تواصل بيننا منذ فترة.
