Dateline: Wednesday March 18th in Yei, South Sudan
I'm here w Dennis & Lynda Blake from Elk River, MN. They're introducing Community Bible Study International to our 56 teachers.
Royal School began as a kindergarten in 2007 because all local schools had been closed for years during an extremely bloody civil war.
To start, Loburi Alex, Spirit 99.9 FM manager jammed 100 kids into two tiny rooms. Now the school numbers OVER 1800 students on 3 campuses.
Lynda Blake fully expects these staff to catch her enthusiasm for sharing God's Word with children

AFRICA!!! (From Dan Peters) On Sunday night, we drove into the campus of Royal School International in Uganda. We were met with such a wonderful sight: 75 boarding students in a big circle singing hymns, praising God, praying, and having their evening devotional as the sun wen down. What a joy! Many of these children are orphans and have no one. Others of them come from extremely poor families and struggle to pay the $30 school fee each month, which includes room and board. Dennis Blake, my cousin, was ecstatic. He ran amongst the kids, hugging them and dancing with them. As I left that evening to go to sleep, he said to me, "This is what it's all about!"

PRAY FOR WATER!
We began drilling a well on Sunday January 4th at the last possible campus location where water may be found.
Currently our 450 students must walk about one mile with heavy 5-gallon "jerry" cans to bring back water for bathing.
Thanks to generous gifts from friends of Dennis & Lynda Blake over $15,000 has been donated for this life-saving project.
300 feet is the Maximum depth the machine can drill.
PLEASE PRAY A GENEROUS SUPPLY OF FRESH WATER IS FOUND!
