โYei River County has registered an impressive performance in the 2025 Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) examinations, with an overall pass rate of 94 percent, according to results officially declared by the executive director Hillary John Konga.

โA total of 1,834 candidates from 55 primary schools sat for the exams, reflecting a strong level of participation across the county. Of these, 1,733 candidates successfully passed, marking one of the best performances in recent years.

โBoys slightly outperformed girls in the results, with 931 boys passing compared to 802 girls. In percentage terms, boys accounted for 50.7 percent of passes, while girls represented 43.7 percent.

โOnly 101 candidates failed the examinations, representing just 6 percent, further highlighting the overall success recorded by schools across the county.
