ANNOUNCEMENT
The administration of St. Daniel Comboni Primary School – Romich wishes to inform all parents, guardians, pupils, teachers, and the entire school community that the school is officially scheduled to open for the new term on 25th May 2025, which is tomorrow.
All pupils are therefore requested to report to school on time and fully prepared for the beginning of classes and other school activities.
Parents and guardians are kindly encouraged to support their children in reporting early and maintaining discipline throughout the term.

A thrilling football match between the teaching staff and pupils of St. Daniel Comboni Primary School - Romich ended successfully in favor of the pupils, who defeated the teachers by 5 goals to 2.
The teachers faced a very strong and determined side that has been actively training since the beginning of the academic year through both academic and co-curricular activities. The match displayed teamwork, discipline, talent, and unity among the pupils and staff, making the event enjoyable and memorable for everyone present.
The successful game also marked the official end of Term One activities, as pupils now begin their two-week holiday break after completing their first term examinations. Appreciation goes to the school administration, teachers, pupils, and supporters for promoting sportsmanship and togetherness throughout the term.

St. Daniel Comboni Primary School – Romich is located in Romich Headquarters, Tonj East County, Warrap State, Republic of South Sudan. Romich serves as the administrative headquarters of Tonj East County, one of the six counties of Warrap State.
The school is a Catholic-founded educational institution under the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rumbek, which oversees Catholic missions and educational institutions across parts of Warrap and Lakes States. The Diocese of Rumbek includes the St. Daniel Comboni Parish network in the greater Marial Lou and Romich area, where Catholic missionaries established schools to promote education, moral formation, and community development.
St. Daniel Comboni Primary School – Romich was founded during the early missionary expansion period of Catholic education in the 20th century, with its roots connected to the spread of Christian education by Comboni missionaries and the Diocese of Rumbek in the greater Tonj region. The school was established to provide access to quality education, discipline, and spiritual formation for children in Romich and surrounding communities.
Since its establishment, the school has played an important role in producing educated citizens, community leaders, and future professionals who continue to contribute to the development of Tonj East County, Warrap State, and South Sudan at large.
