The 5 days training concluded yesterday 24th-July, 2026 with awards of certificates by the Ministry. This was after the students from various schools who happened to have completed the full training went to the Radio station "Voice of love" to showcase the knowledge they acquired during the training.

The Management of Vision Academy would like to thank in a special way, Michael Malingha who led the team Vision, the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of General Education and Instructions.

The general cleaning day at Vision Academy.

The activity involved the Principal, teachers, and other members of the school, all working hand in hand to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment.
This meaningful exercise demonstrated teamwork, responsibility, and the spirit of leading by example. Seeing the Principal and teachers actively participating showed that cleanliness and environmental care are everyone’s responsibility.

Vision Academy Participation | Commemoration of the African Child 2026
*Theme: _Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Every Child in Africa*_

*Malakal, South Sudan | 16th June 2026*

Vision Academy was pleased to take part in the Commemoration of the Day of the African Child in Malakal County.

This year’s theme, *“Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Every Child in Africa”*, reminds us that WASH is not a luxury — it is a child’s right and a foundation for health, learning, and protection.

During the event, Vision Academy students:
1. *Led hygiene demonstrations* on handwashing with soap at the 5 critical times.
2. *Presented a poem* on “Safe Water for African Children” to raise awareness in IDP and host communities.
3. *Shared messages* on the importance of clean water, safe latrines, and a clean school environment to prevent disease and keep girls in class.

As a school serving children in Upper Nile, Vision Academy reaffirms its commitment to a *safe, clean, and child-friendly learning space* where every learner has access to safe drinking water, proper sanitation, and hygiene education.

_“When a child has safe water and clean hands, they have a chance to stay in school, stay healthy, and dream for the future.”_
