Amongst all the creatures, only human being is created uniquely but nature makes human being more unique and beautiful π
A year ago, I attended a STEAM training program in Shanghai, China as part of South Sudan's effort to implement it's national Competency-Based Curriculum.

Yesterday (Friday, 24th October) I joined our workforce to recognize and celebrate the magnificent contributions made by everyone of them to ensure our children learn effective to realize their fullest potentials.
During the day, I had the pleasure to identify teachers who represented their colleagues' selfless effort to receive individual accolades; I celebrate your passionate dedication, resilience and patience in the face of myriad of daunting challenges facing the country's education sector.
Under the theme: "Recasting teaching as a collaborative profession", I requested the community stakeholders and Civil Society Associations to continue according the schools the support they need to improve the teaching and learning processes noting that teachers alone cannot do much without their involvement.
On behalf of County Education Office, I pledge to advocate for continuous professional development, fair welfare, wage and motivation packages to attract qualified teachers back to the system to efficiently drive swift improvement of the sector.
As always, I am grateful to our development partners, especially ADRA International and Save the Children South Sudan for supporting and supplementing the efforts of the government in delivering learning opportunities, ensuring no child is left behind.

Before joining the Education Change Makers program at Kenyatta University I had worries and mixed feelings about Africa's future; for I believe Education could change the plight. But the challenges facing the sector are quite enormous, from policy frameworks to classroom structures, from teachers' shortage to poor welfare systems. Across Africa, the education outcomes have been disparately disastrous. The sector has collapsed, due to our collective failure to act when it needed us most.
But as I leave today, I am reenergize by purpose and vision, with full knowledge that Africa is endowed with enormous resources but untaped. And that we can do something. We cannot afford to watch with despair again.
"The world doesn't need loud celebrations. It needs bold leadership, in education."
I am thankful to all the friends I've met from across the continent and with the energy and passion demonstrated, African Education systems shall never be the same again.

Excited to have been selected to participate in a Regional Leadership workshop for African Education Change makers organized by Regional Leadership Center East Africa and The Trevor Noah Foundation and implemented by Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya.
This professional workshop offers a perfect chance to develop further, in understanding the role of education at the global arena.
I look forward to meeting new friends and most importantly, having a rare opportunity to discuss the prospects of sustainable education, owned by African communities across the continent.
See you all my colleagues in Kenya on 22nd September. π€

CRITICAL THINKING, ONE OF THE AIMS OF NATIONAL CURRICULUM
"The goal of education is to train the mind to think, not to obey.βπ§ Albert Einsteins
Education should spark curiosity, not conformity.
It should empower critical thinking, not blind obedience.
A classroom isn't a place for memorizing rules β it's a space for exploring why those rules exist in the first place.
π Teach children to ask questions.
Encourage them to challenge ideas.
Thatβs how real learning begins.

Who lied to you that South Sudan shall be better again???
They are eating and drinking in Pyramid Continental Hotel and you're dying of hunger.
Who lied to you???
They are seeking medical treatment from abroad but you must be treated in Juba "Teaching Hospitals".
Who lied to you???
They are shopping in big malls, with thousands of dollars as you lavishly shop second hand-torn cloths in Juba markets.
Who lied to you???
They are driving in V-cars and Jeeps as they stumble on you, crashing your "already dead Borns" and never look back to collect you for burial.
Who lied to you???
Illiteracy rate is up from 80% not because there are no schools to go to; but the available ones are either dysfunctional or expensive despite the promise of "free Education for all" Today, they prioritize their children education abroad to yours. No teacher, no learner in supposed dilapidated classrooms.
Who lied to you???
As if that's not enough, they denied civil servants their salaries for years and nothing seems happening.
Who lied to you that South Sudan shall be better again???
Now, the villages are coming to the few towns, where there is armed night robbery, unknown gunmen, opportunities for professional begging and other forms of untold suffering.
They now call Juba as "South Sudan" when reporting to the International Community forums.
They deny access to the experts who wish to visit other locations like Chukudum, Morobo, Mundri, Mayom, Panyikang, Lafon, etc in the countryside to assess the humanitarian needs amidst deplorable conditions inflicted on humanity.
Thank you leaders for giving us THIS South Sudan. We love it though! πππ
But, Who lied to you that South Sudanese can't reclaim their power again???πππ

Have you ever noticed that people who go on a retreat or pilgrimage come back pretending for a week or so before falling again?
Faith should be a habitual action.
